In fact, these romantic poets described the village as “the loveliest spot that man hath ever found.” This small village in Cumbria in the district of South Lakeland in the North West region is charming enough to be a tourist destination. For centuries and till now, it has continued to attract visitors from everywhere. If you have heard of the world-famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop, you would have a reason to visit or spend some time in the village. It is one of the finest gems in the Lake District.

If you find that more comfortable, you can refer to this one of the most picture-perfect villages in England as the home of Mam Tor, a.k.a. Shivering Mountain. Castleton in Hope Valley, in the Peak District, is located in Derbyshire, about half an hour from Sheffield by train. This charming and charismatic village has long been a hotspot for history buffs, and outdoor lovers, including hikers and seasoned trekkers. They need to research more thoroughly, as they said Castleton is 2 hours away from Mam Tor, but it's only 2.6 miles away (according to the AA route planner) So perhaps he should have said two hours away from London?

Totally was gonna say the same thing. I’m from New England and that looks exactly like the white congregational/episcopal churches that are dotted in towns all across the region. My guess is that it’s in either Massachusetts or Vermont.
