Start with 5 steps spin then 3 steps then try 1 step spin..

Spotting.you need to fix a spot at your eye level. So when you are taking a turn, you start by looking at it and after the turn you come back to this spot. Yes, even I've seen teachers telling to take the chakkar on the heel. I personally find it difficult doing it on the heel though. I prefer the way ma'am has done; the balance of the body and manageability works better this way.
