If you think Polish inflections are difficult then don't even think about learning Hungarian. !

As Craig says, practice but also watch, watch, watch ... keep watching Monica's videos. :) Create an Excel spread sheet and type up everything you are learning. It helps reinforce everything you're learning. Plus you can see everything you're learning at a glance and it will make more sense when you see everything on one page. And you can add notes and comments and your own way of pronouncing words if that helps.

How do you like the Polish language? Can this be taught? I tried a little Japanese, but no. these signs are really difficult and the pronunciation. It has little use unless someone wants to go to Japan.

Thanks for that Monika.. There is a useful section on Polish grammar in Collins Polish dictionary from where I later found this out. Yes, I forgot about the annoying masculine non-masculine persons gender in possessive pronouns. I hope it does not occur anywhere else.

You break it down well. Can you provide some tips for guessing the word gender? It seems like neuter nouns end in o and feminine nouns end in a. Merry Christmas to you!

How about 'This is Monika's room'? Would be good to understand possession in relation to someone's name.
@PolishwithMonika
@PolishwithMonika Жыл бұрын
To describe possession in relation to nouns, including names, we will use the genitive case. We will say: To jest pokój Moniki. - This is Monika's room. You can learn more about the genitive case in one of my videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nny1omR6jZqFp5o

At point 4.32 in this video there is even a different inflection for what appears to be the same case and gender! Accusative plural:MOJE soiostry versus accusative plural MOICH braci. The endings are a headache.
@PolishwithMonika
@PolishwithMonika 3 ай бұрын
These are actually different grammatical genders :) 'Moje siostry' is non-personal-masculine plural (rodzaj niemęskoosobowy), whereas 'moich braci' is personal-masculine plural (rodzaj męskoosobowy).
