Fantastic. Not only am I learning Polish but I'm also gaining an understanding on perspective and grammar. Siebie = myself as in 'by myself', or on my own. Sobie = mysefl as in "me", or for me. So for fun you could even probalby (depending if I have used the correct grammar here) say something like : Kupiłam sobie prezent, siebie. >>>>> I bought myself (me) a present, by myself (on my own). :D
@PolishwithMonika
@PolishwithMonika 4 ай бұрын
To say 'I bought myself a present by myself.' you would rather say: 'Kupiłam sobie sama prezent.' or 'Sama sobie kupiłam prezent'. (when said by a woman) 'Kupiłem sobie sam prezent.' or 'Sam sobie kupiłem prezent'. (when said by a man) 'Sam/sama/samo' is also an interesting word, meaning 'alone', 'on one's own'.

Thanks a lot Monika. I was very confused earlier with these words. Your video helps me a lot. Could you please make another video about using "swoj", swoje, swoja, these words? Also, difference among the words wydarzac sie, stac sie, zdarzac sie. Thank you.

Interesting that you pronounce “coś” like ‘coiś” when you speak fast.

Ahh, I have also noticed certain other words being pronounced differently when spoken fast. I'm glad to know it is not just me. :) Like O CZYM, goes from o-chem to o-tim (like autumn).

Hi teacher , I've known your channel recently, i learn Polish on my own, could you explain me about : ten & tego Are they the same words? How can I use them?
@PolishwithMonika
@PolishwithMonika Жыл бұрын
Hi, "ten" and "tego" both mean "this" but are in different cases. Examples: Ten chłopiec jest wysoki. - This boy is tall. ("ten" is in the nominative case) Znam tego chłopca. - I know this boy. ("tego" is in the accusative case) You can check my videos about Polish cases to find out more: kzbin.info/aero/PLjmevIlHkTgg4_tFkS6mqUnISyHveBYav

Because the ending esz indicates second person. If it was Uczę it would be first person
