Many thanks for these excellent videos. I play sudoku on my phone, but my sudoku app does not let me choose Snyder or cell notation, I did find an app that allows it, but that one will not let me save my game and continue another time. Can you (or anybody) please suggest an app that will let me play sudoku using snyder notation and cell notation and let me save my game. Thanks again.

2:21 you coul have eliminated one of the two pair as the 2 from the last box were pointing upward. So the 2 above the 8 would be the in his right Spot. 2:21

Yes, you are correct. She also missed placing the 3 in block 4. The 3 in column 1 of block 7 forced a 3 to be in column 3 of block 1. Therefore the 3 must be in column 2 of block 7. The 3 in row 5 (block 6) shows the 3 can be correctly placed in column 2, row 4 of block 4.

On the filling in of 3s (2:25), why did you not pencil in a 3 above the 7 in block 4, where you added two other 3s?

In block 1, the 3's will be in the 3rd column. Block 7 eliminates 3's from the 1st column. Therefore, 3's in block 4 can only be in column 2. The 3 in row 5 +block 6) eliminates that row. Therefore no markings were needed, she could have place the 3 in column 2, row 4.

Your explanations are so clear and I appreciate that I don't need closed captions(CC) to understand what you're saying. In this video on Smart Hobbies, (see link), it's better to use CC, but it was the first time I had heard of a WXYZ wing. Please consider doing a video on this. It is known by another name (A.k.a. Bent Quads), and is an extension of an XYZ Wing with four instead of three. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4q8dp2Lq8yHrMU There are a few other sites but all hard for me to hear/understand.
