Thank you! EXCELLENT VIDEO ! Very clear & slow enough for newbies to follow. U did such a good job, I had to fight urge to stop video & go play a game lol. But I’m making myself watch it all, even though I know I’ll watch it again. 👍

Bit confused about the 'Synder' marking, thought you said not to mark in to many numbers? Seems you need to mark in all the candidates for these methods to work?

Do you have a video explaining xy chains? I saw the xy wing and the remote pairs, but what about the 3 BVC or more cells?

This doesn't feel like a beginners lesson as it is so hard to spot those triples when all the candidates are placed. You are explaining it very well but I guess it's just practise, practise, Wish I had your skills.

Thanks Marie, keep practicing and you will start to see the patterns as your brain will get attuned. Then you will start to see them faster. There are lots of triples, I didn't point out all the triples, its a very common pattern, but you have to know what to look for. Have fun, and remember, practice makes progress! Thanks for the kind comment!

Go slow, very slow at first. Try thinking about it as not a game. Practice boards just to spot & Work on (triplets) for now

In row 8 , column 8 , the number 2 could also be a candidate . Not only the number 4 and the number 5 right ? which means the 4 and 5 are no longer naked pairs right ? Appreciate your feedback , thanks for the videos !

@@LearnSomethingNewEveryDay Minute 4:04 , Row 8. , column 8 , where there are candidates 4 and 5 , why could that not be candidates 2 , 4 or a 5? Thanks for your reply and regards from Belgium !
@LearnSomethingNewEveryDay
@LearnSomethingNewEveryDay 5 ай бұрын
Hello to Belgium from USA! Row 8 has two pairs, the 1,2 and the 4,5. For it to be considered a triple you need three numbers shared between three cells. The two is not shared with the 4 or the 5, so its not part of a triple. If one of the cells had the 2 with either the 4, or the 5, then you would have a triple. Does that help?

HOW IS THIS A LESSON FOR BEGINNERS, WHEN YOU USE SOME MAGIC ASSISTANT TO FILL ALL THE CANDIDATES @3:22 ? HOW IS THE BEGINNER SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?
@LearnSomethingNewEveryDay
@LearnSomethingNewEveryDay 5 ай бұрын
You can use autofill to generate the candidates if you don't want to take the time to go around the grid cell by cell. The idea is to learn how triples work. Triples is a beginner level strategy, they are easier to spot than wings, skyscrapers, chains etc.
