This is exactly the kind of lesson my girlfriend and I have been looking for. We're here under quarantine and have been dancing to your lessons. We've learned more from your than we have from anyone else! Thank you your the thorough and helpful video. Any chance you've got any specific pointers or tips for some true beginners?? Thanks again, and stay safe and dancing!

I went to a dance last night, said I don't know how to dance and nobody believed me. (Everybody says that.) By the end of the evening, I think they believed me. I was pwned in the kindest and most supportive way. 😆

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT BASIC TUTORIAL! I try to convey to my students the exact same concepts, all the footwork is the same for the most part. The trick is learning to understand musicality and how to apply the appropriate step to that rhythm. I try tell/instill in all my leaders that learning more moves is irrelevant if one's foundation sucks. Thank you for reinforcing the simplicity of partner dancing!

Boy! I sure am glad I found your video on here. I JUST started (1 lesson so far) and what taught me was the general as you. He said steps were interchangeable. I couldn't realize how.. Now, I do. I'm sure I can help 'him' now each me. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm 75 and just now learning to dance, of any sort. Can't find men willing to learn. It's getting to be a dying art which I am trying to help keep it going....for me and for future meeeees . ha ha

Thank You, This is awesome, I was talking with a woman I know about ballroom dancing, and we both thought it sounded fun, I haven't taken lessons,& only know the Jr. high prom style of shuffling my feet, I can't wait for her to visit and ask her to "Walk" with me. I'm hoping to go to a small town street dance with her 😃

I also teach ballroom dance and if I were to recommend a video for anyone to start it would be this one very simple and straight forward no crazy steps just basics. the triple steps are unnecessary in my opinion I will struggle trying to get my students to march in place from time to time so triple steps I would recommend learning a few lessons into your dance experience. Above all great video for beginners
