Late to the party, video wasn't popping up in recommends and since it doesn't have Bloodborne in the title, I guess that's why it wasn't showing up when searching for BB board game videos either. At 15:50, when drawing for Tireless (draw 2, discard 1), there is nothing saying you have to discard one of the cards you drew. You draw cards into your hand and discard from there, so you could've kept both Dodges and dumped a Draw 1 for example. Probably not a huge impact point here, but if you have a hand full of chaff you don't need and draw two great cards, you can discard one of the chaff cards instead. 20:55, you transformed Ludwig's weapon, which had two cards in the slots, and transforming has you clear the slots, so she would've done two damage to the Minion, removing the Insight token of extra health. Same for when you transformed at 29:30, missed out on doing two damage. Not sure that was quite the plan, but when Ludwig moved back to Central Lamp at 32:50, the Minion hanging out with Saw Cleaver to the south would've also activated after her turn like the Minion at the Graveyard did and moved to Ludwig's space. It was on Cleaver's space, but it was Ludwig's turn and it could reach her, so it would activate normally. Resulting in death for Ludwig, unless you spent the Pungent Blood Cocktail to stop it from activating. When you went to Oedon Chapel and killed the Female Beast Patient, you forgot or missed that you were supposed to reveal card 31 as well (as per card 30), which gives her two Insight tokens of extra health and alters her Special. 48:30, Saw Cleaver's On Kill would've triggered for Draw 1, allowing him to grab the Consumable or keep for next turn. Personally, I would've had Ludwig return from the Dream to Oedon Chapel and summon Scourge Beast in there, A) saving a card from not needing to move and B) getting the Chapel special effect to help in the fight, just in case. 56:25, you can't move in and out of the Great Bridge due to its special effect which prevents Hunters on the tile from moving out of spaces with enemies. So would've had to Pebble them to you in order to start luring them to the Clinic, meaning you wouldn't have had it for the Cleric Beast luring at the end. I was wondering why you chose to attack, knowing that a reset was coming and Cleric Beast would heal, rather than transforming Saw Cleaver and waiting for the next turn when the damage would actually start adding up? 1:23:25, enemies activate from left to right based on their Hunt Board positioning, so normal enemies always activate before bosses.

O gosh.. u played very well and finished on last round! That is super hard for 2 chapter :) i fall yesterday on boss battle.. i dont know if that random tiles (drawing) sometimes make game impossible to win.. gotta try again

It was a close game. I think the random tiles draws and hope they come out can have a big impact on the outcome of the game if you get the right tiles early it can really help. Thanks for watching and commenting and keep at it you will get past the boss;)

Hi from France! Great videos, thank you! Just a little thing: at 32:55, I think that the second Huntsman minion (the one which is with the other Hunter) should have been activated and placed with Ludwig’s Holy Blade because it was within range and could have reached the same space as her even if it was in a space with another Hunter. Anyway, you would have killed it with Ludwig’s firearm so: no problemo 😁

@@LearntoPlayGamesI own the game for one week and I’ve only played the first and second chapter of the Long Hunt so I don’t know yet. But I enjoy the game very much: it’s very tactical and you can’t win if you try to hack and slash. Just like the video game. And the dodge system is very good. This is a thing that was not well designed in Dark Souls boardgame, I think.

Hi, loving these video's, helped immensely when playing this game for the first time. One remark: when flipping Holy Blade's weapon, you clear the slots first before actually flipping, right? So doesn't that mean you can deal up to 3 points of damage when you transform her weapon? Either way, thanks a bunch for these vids. Cheers!

According to threads here and there that is exactly how Ludwigs Holy Blade works, because the rules say "Clear" capital C slots before flipping the weapon. So RAW would mean 3x1 weapon damage with cards in all 3 slots.

So the enemies you fight from the insight missions never respawn even on red resets? Btw love the vids keep it going!!

The mission card usually says they respawn, however, once a mission is completed, the card is discarded, thus it is no longer in play, so nothing to respawn (other than normal enemies).
