Beautiful craftsmanship once again Agar. Love your videos, I just wish I had a 1/4 of your talent. Keep the videos coming. (Hello from Ontario).

Good idea on sewing before you cut the liner. I've sewn after cutting and with thin leather the stitching can cause the edge to be a bit wavy.

Beautiful! I’m making one now for myself and was wondering- Why do you leave one side of the keeper unglued? (I was going to just glue mine in on both sides, but now I’m hesitant) Thank you so much!

Why would you glue the belt so you cant remove the buckle if you want to or have to. I've had buckles break also. otherwise your work is excellent!

Very nice work! What kind of punches (for the needle) are used (which manufacturer is producing such punches)? Thank you!
@bryanleenheer58507 жыл бұрын
Those looked like Vergez-Blanchard pricking irons. They aren't used to punch all the way through both layers of the leather, but instead simply mark where the awl should be used. Here is a supplier in the USA: www.rmleathersupply.com/collections/vergez-blanchard-tools/products/vergez-blanchard-pricking-irons-10-set

@@bryanleenheer5850 what is the benefit of stopping short with the chisel and using the awl to finish the penetration.
