What kind of adhesive do you use for the patches? Also which sewing machine is best for sewing patches?

John, I use double sided carpet tape to hold the patches on until I sew them. I have found that a post sewing machine is the best for me when sewing on patches. It gives me the best mobility to move around the hat. There are several different types of Post sewing machines, I use an old singer with a roller foot.
