Leather tooling a fishing documents pouch by a total beginner

Once again i have tried something new a i haven't done before.
Finally my diamond chisel set and my swivel knife, tools and stamps arrived - and as i needed a pouch for my fishing licenses i just went for it.
And there was also another first - i have never worked with natural vegtan or dyed any leather.
so this time includes:
- preparing, cutting
- no burnish or painting edges this time
- bevel edges
- drawing the design onto the leather (i don't have any transfer paper yet, so i just used a normal print and transferred it with a bone. not a big problem, as it's not a very detailed design)
- tooling, carving, stamping
- dyeing (with Fiebings Pro Dye - english bridle)
- blocking with Resolene
- finishing with Antique finish
- handsewing / stitching
- assembling buttons etc
there was quite some background noise while dyeing, so i put some gentle music over that part..
i'm pretty pleased with the outcome :)

Very nice. I am a beginner as well and also love fly fishing so I am wondering if there was a pattern for this design or if you made it up yourself?

Hi, sorry for the very late answer. I missed your comment. And there's not really a pattern. I just took a picture from the internet and edited so i could use it as a pattern. :) If i find the file i can maybe share it.
