Thank you so much for this tutorial!....I wanted to practice making the barrell knots but didn't have a tube or a straw and I was wracking my brain trying to think of something I could use for the tube. I explained this situation to my husband and he went out into the garage and came back 5 minutes later with several tubes that were perfect! I asked him what they were and he told me that he had some new break line that he hadn't used so he cut it to my specifications. They work PERFECT! I used all my small hand files and filed them smooth so now I have about 6 tubes I can use! I also was looking around my house for something to use as a bead board. I ordered a ring display case but had to find something to make do .....I am using a plastic spice holder as my tray and so far it's working good! I am getting ready to practice this technique of making bracelets and want to get really good at it because of all the videos I have watched on making bracelets I feel yours are the BEST! I love the form and simplicity of them. Thank you again for the great tutorial!

It’s crazy how my couch research has led me to you! I just watched your thread video and bought some upholstery thread at JoAnn Fabric for curbside pickup tomorrow! Haha, and it was on sale. I’m about to watch your wrap bracelet tutorials but wanted to say thank you for posting so much content. I’m glad I happened upon your channel, you have a very calming voice too! ☺️

Hi Waneta 🤓 I'm so glad you're making bracelets. I do get my Czech seed beads in bulk. Here in Canada I get them from The Craft Shop on Amazon.ca. In the US I get them from Shipwreck Beads. I hopes this helps. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️

Hi Emma I have been making leather wrap bracelets for years. I have never learned how to measure the thread or the leather I always waste a lot can you tell me how to figure that out with wildfire double thread. Thanks so much for this video. This is a beautiful wrap bracelet! Teri 😊

Hi Emma. So sorry to hear you are feeling sore today, have you been doing too much?? Love how well you explained this project especially about the measuring. I have made 1 double and a half wrap bracelet with 6mm ceramic round beads and need to find someone with substantial wrist to wear it. Grrrr. Guess I got carried away enjoying myself. Good practice anyways. Great video.

Jenn and I had a reaction to the Astra Seneca shot two weeks after getting the first shot. We are both dragging our butts. Every joint in my body aches. We are also in a full lock down and the weather is cold and wet. We are doing all we can to keep our mood up. I don't even want to bead 😜 I've been scouring designs to snap me out of it. I may try try something with the jewel loom or peyote 🤓 That should snap me out of it 🧡 Thanks for being a friend.

@@BabySquirrelBeading oh hun. We had the astra seneca shots too and the 2nd one was better than the 1st for us both. Cold wet and awful here too so you are not alone, spring is a little late getting here this year. We keep looking for our house Martin family to arrive and nest but as yet no signs of them but we have seen some early arrivals around. Just hope they make it. They have nested on the house opposite every year we have lived here, 23 years so far and every May we watch with breath held to welcome them back. 🌍

Thank you so much but I have a question my stone have a one hole can l do that with one hole?
@BabySquirrelBeading Жыл бұрын
Hi Melika 🤓 you can do it with a one hole tile bead but you have to make sure you leave enough space between each so they sit flat. They will also spin around thread and not sit flat 🐿️

Hi Emma, can you let us know what thickness your leather is (I think you mentioned 1.5 mm on another video, but I can't remember) and give us some suggestions on where to purchase? Thanks so much!!
@BabySquirrelBeading3 жыл бұрын
Sorry I always forget to mention I use exclusively 2mm leather. I buy it from www.xsotica.com They have beautiful colours and great prices 🧡

If you don't mind my asking, what are you dealing with pain wise? I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc & nerve disease and then, about a year ago, I was diagnosed with a very, VERY rare condition called Dercums Disease. Less than 0.00003% of the population has it. So, I use my jewelry, macrame and crochet (though I can't crochet much anymore as it's too painful) to keep my mind off my pain and when I can take more medication. I've found that some of my worse pain days, are also my most productive days. When asked my story, I like to say that I turn pain into beauty!! Whatever is causing your pain, I hope that you are able to find relief as often as possible. 😊

In this video I was rehabbing from right hand surgery. I've since had my left hand done. They are both doing well. If you haven't see my most recent videos I have breast cancer. I had pelvic repair surgery 2 months ago and they took out everything (reproductive) as preventative for cancer. During that I had a bulging disk 🤦 I'm recovering with minimal pain but having some abdominal swelling. I used to knit sweaters and infant patterns from the old days 😂 I don't anymore because of my hands. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement 😘 You can email me if you want. Let me know where you from and a bit about you. emmadevost@gmail.com
