Man, I missed that and had to replay it many times to see her. Anna in that game was great . A few times in the game Middi was chasing her but she eluded him many times and even got to backstab him at 18:12; I bet she mains Leland . She's the toughest victim but it's the player who does the magic; It felt like a movie with Middi chasing her throughout the game; somehow the other killers didn't do much . Too bad she didn't get to escape; it didn't help that not much progress was made by Danny and Connie's players .

Idk if my other comment got deleted but for the overheat bug, once you hit a survivor with an overhead, don’t swing again immediately. Stand there and rev your chainsaw until the rev bar looks like it’s revved up to 15% and then move and swing, you will still get a guaranteed hit

That's the problem, before you could instantly swing after a overhead without stalling but now they nerfed it without us knowing.

Or even easier if you see L2 it means you’re not going to stall. If you don’t see L2 you’re going to stall so just press R1 right away to turn your chainsaw off so that you can instantly turn it back on again so you basically can’t stall.

Leatherface is so much more lethal in basement after this update. I've caught way more Ana's and Lelands early game since they don't have their ability. Plus due to Danny tampering the valve having that 1 hit at the valve exit is very useful.

I frequently use Master Key with Leatherface. If you run up to the door and press the button to barge as you connect with the door it works every time.

amuseingly enough, that 2ed game that early game leiland probably dident have his barge up yet since they added that min long cooldown at the start of the match, so that boy shoulda been alot sneakyier, if he wanted to survive

I use rubber boots when i playing at Nancy's house map. It helps me crossed a shortcut to the main door if one of the blue doors in the garage/fence house is open. So i can quickly check the door in front of Nancy's house with LF.

Connie getting out happened because if u overhead swing and a door is interact-able for them they bounce straight up, seen it myself a few times, seasoned vic's have worked this exploit out Middi, i sure you know the way to counter that, SMASH ALL THEM BLOODY DOORS hahaha Keep up the excellent videos and that damn gold humor you lay down mate

ive noticed in your vids you rev around 50-55% for most overhead swings, & the trick is to rev from 65-99%, if lower itll drain more rev than you have left from a swing, overheads drain same amount of rev but you need more than like 65% to have enough to swing again/not overheat. you can also hear the heat of the engine, louder=less stall

You can reduce the chainsaw noise by going into your settings, then reducing your "Effects" volume to around 10-20. This won't affect being able to hear voice lines of the victims but note it does lower the sound of the Generator or Pressure valve going off so you will need to rely on teammates to let you know.

Try using rubber boots with leatherface on Nancy's House.

Rubber Boots is decent on Hitchhiker for Nancy's House because you can go up and quickly trap the outside of the front door - they never expect it - or quickly defend the front gate if you're using Exterior Alarms and see them open the front door.

For master key u cant stand next to the door to barge it, u have to run into the door & barge (X or sh square) for it to work & it instantly barges the door. Lvl 3 u get 5 charges

When you overhead you spend ~75% heat. So you need to be a fair bit above that 75% threshold (when the bar turns red) in order for it to not stall. The same thing for extra regular M1 attacks you do after an overhead, you need to rev the chainsaw a little to get more heat to spend on the M1s. Patience and monitoring/managing your heat bar is key to mastering Leatherface.

In my experience, after you do a big swing you have to rev until you hear a specific big sound before swinging again to avoid stalling. It's a new sound which didn't exist before the update and is a noticeable 'tell' that now your chainsaw has recovered. You can hear it at 22:44 in the tiny gap between you saying "wait" and you swinging at Leland.

Figured that out recently myself. Never got to his lvl2 before but from what it did look like, there was no timing before. Now, it looks like leatherface's 'instant kill' rewards patient players and hurts the impatient ones.

6:39 Leland closed the door because Middi was near but didn't know Middi saw him close it. Somehow he's just standing in front of the door and so when Middi eventually opened it; Leland got knocked down . When he eventually got up he somehow ran in panic towards the locked basement door leading to his death; just a great Leland moment .

The closer the chainsaw is to overheating by revving the more "health" it will have before stalling after a over head attack

The issue with master key is that it uses the same input as chain-sawing through the door ('R' on PC) instead of the more logical option of using the same button as slamming the door open ('E' on PC) like every other character in the game. It also requires you to be running when you press 'R' so if you walk up to the door, you have to run back slightly and forward to slam it. If you anticipate a locked door or react quickly enough you can do it straight away, but you have to mash 'R' when running to the door instead of 'E', and then if it isn't actually latched then you just stand there looking stupid while your character tries to start and stop the chainsaw animation. Using 'Master Key' with 'Tenderizer' is the real meme - I incapacitated a Leland with it once and he immediately disconnected.

Speaking of long games... I was playing Victim on Slaughterhouse against a Nancy, Cook and Johnny and all they did was closing the crawl spaces and patrolling... The Leland and Danny on my team weren't doing anything. It's the only game where my health went to critical (the heart turns purple) without being the last victim. I swear the game must've lasted at least 20 minutes.

Leatherface is STILL the best family member! Even with his stalling bug. I saw someone post that if you overhead at 50-60% red meter (It will always stall you) you can actually stop the chainsaw with RB/Q before the stalling animation which would need you to reactivate the saw anyway. Haven't had a chance to test it yet, but if it's true, it'd be a big help. Edit: Tested and it works

I don't think this is a bug, I actually think this is a rework. I noticed when playing that the chainsaw is more consistent with stalling rather than leaving it up to random chance. Basically, if you Rev your chainsaw near the end of your ability bar during a big swing, you'll Basically never stall, however if you have your chainsaw reved as low as can be on a big swing, you are guaranteed to stall. I like this better because stalling isn't as random anymore, and whether or not you stall depends on your own skill and knowledge and timing of swings.
