Wow, I lived in Leatherhead up until 1988, while it looks the same it's also changed so much. That Lidl used to be the Bull Hotel, the Penny Black pub was the post office. The town looks so dead now, I remember it being pretty vibrant. I guess it's the same with most towns, out of town retail parks have torn the soul out of them. Great walk around, Spaceman :)

I am from Leatherhead, I will give you five out of ten and I am being generous, where was the football ground, where was the Running Horse, where was the river Mole...where was the walk from the railway station to the three bridges....mate, a good effort if you aint from Leatherhead, but very average if you are, an honest opinion.

Hello! This is the first time I visited Leatherhead. Thanks for letting me know. will try to film those places if I come again. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@SpacemanTV2 hope so, I will watch out for your videos, I think if you start from a railway station as a general point of reference it will give viewers a starting point. Pubs and places of Historic interest might also make for a good video, and most people love rivers...good luck in future.

We saw the bridge over the Mole when we looked down Bridge Street (Botan Kebab on the left). Big question is: where were all the people? The market stalls were all laid out but there was no-one buying. Place looked dead on its feet. Was everyone at Tescos? Or maybe shopping in Dorking?

@@SpacemanTV2There's also an interesting plaque at 22 Bridge Street near where the Bluesette (John's Children) Club use to be in the late 60s, where Marc Bolan, Jimi Hendrix etc. played early on in their careers

8 minutes = about 7 minutes 45 seconds too long for Leatherhead.
