I got the obsidian, a full bit kit, rachet driver, the black nylon sheath (for the extra pockets), and a leather strap adapter that makes the sheath horizontal carry. All told it was about $400. I removed the pocket clip which improved the overall ergonomics. I absolutely love it!! No buyers remorse whatsoever. I have carried a multitool everyday for 30 years. This is the best one yet.

Regarding your comment on the saw. I use the saw on my Leatherman when bow hunting. Use it a couple times a week when ground hunting. Saw can cut a 1 inch tree quickly and importantly it can cut it very quietly. Use it to make quick blinds when I find a good deer funnel. Have also used it around the planet from Northern Canada to Australia. Great for making mini fires to boil a little water when hiking. The saws on them are great, and easy to sharpen.

Would you recommend it to someone for a 1st multi tool or would you say buy something else for a 1st multi tool i go back and forth between a few different multi tools but i really want to know what other people think about the all new leatherman arc is this your 1st leatherman? Or have you got many more? If someone else asks me what's the best 1st multi tool i would say the leatherman wave is the best 🤔? Or the victorinox swiss champ 🤔? But it's hard to say as i said i go back and forth between many different multi tools but for that 1st multi tool? 🤔 It's very hard to find the perfect multi tool and quality as well leatherman is great with the 25 years know questions asked but who am I to say what is the best for a 1st multi tool it's very hard to say thank you Brent very good video about the all new leatherman arc should i get the leatherman arc? 🤔 God only knows Brent thank you for sharing this with us all the best thanks again 👍

@LeathermanSurge-q6l i was being sarcastic, buy this one, and it will be the only one you need. If you buy something lesser knowing it is not what you really want, do not waste your money. Understand your own needs, derive at a decision that will fit those needs.

Great review! I don't have the Obsidian but I do have an ARC. It is the best multitool I have ever had.......well after a few mods 😂! I liked it so much that I modified my P4 to make it more like the ARC.

@Sqwan2 carry a multitool and you will find yourself noticing everything that can be fixed, for example, loose door handles, cutting loose threads, tighting loose bolts, repairing glasses. Adjusting door swings, hammering nails, cutting the annoying branch that hits you in the head when you walk into the house. Cutting your nails, and Filing them. Cutting wires, (alot of loose screw tightening... did I mention the screws? Hahah but seriously you will find many things and then people will start to rely upon you as well.

@@Sqwan2 multitool is not the proper tool to do every job but it is the best thing you can use when you are mobile and don't have space to carry whole toolbox with you. For example, you can carry it while you are cycling, walking, camping etc. If you are not into those activities then spend no money on multitools, get hand tools instead.

STAY AWAY from Leatherman. I paid them $240 for an Arc and paid extra to engrave my name on it, only to get the item and it looks like the engraving was done by a 3 year old. When I called them, they were snooty and only offered the $12 engraving fee back. The item is horrible looking with the engraving, as is their customer service.
