Sorry, a quick question if I may: I've been cleaning out an old Charge, and found that the loop is beveled in the opposite way as the loop in the Wave I was also cleaning. The Charge is stamped for 2005 feb., the Wave is around that same time too if I remember correctly. So the part where the loop meets with the saw blade, one of them has it ground in an angle in the direction of the outside of the handle, the other has it opposite. How does it look like in your tool? I'm interested in everyone's answers, I just find it weird..

@@FittoSurvive Dammit KZbin lost my comment, I'll try to recreate it... So that's weird, because on my 0707 Wave it's the same, but on the 0205 Charge the bevel is on the bottom. It should be on the top so the saw blade doesn't get stuck on it that easily, right? I think I'll go and ask the wise elders in the Charge owners club on the multitool forums, they might know something about what kind of mutant version is this: * the bevel is on the other side * both ends of the double sided screwdriver bit are phillips drivers * it looks like the old Charge TI but this one for sure doesn't contain titanium This is a weird one... Not a design oversight. I can't believe you people see a choice in attachment options as a design flaw. You consider the hidden lanyard loop a "secret"? So obviously it doesn't get in the way. If you want a loop that can't detach accidentally while operating the tool lock. I am sure you will appreciate the built-in loop. If you attach a lanyard that regularly impedes the operation of the tool like some people do. The detachable ring is what you want. The pocket clip is detachable so you don't have a hot spot when using the pliers. It also makes the pocket clip deep carry. Compared to the Leatherman Free series clip. I would prefer that Leatherman keep the "redundant" features. It's something you would complain should be included in the tool if they didn't have it.

Hey! I carry the Charge TTi as well and like most things about it. Think my scissors perform slightly better than yours, even though they're far inferior to my SAKs ones. Personally the "bit kit" has saved me on several occasions. Actually found a special square bit that I needed when I hung wallpaper and needed to remove the floor molding.. Didn't even know that kind of screw existed... Also great when I do stuff that requires two sets of small bits, like servicing a folding knife. To me the con of potentially losing a bit and have to replace it is totally worth the pro! I knew about the hidden "lanyard" and regard it as such. Don't like the big bolt on one but I guess that's convenient if you carry a beefy lanyard at certain times. Like maybe for carrying a ferrorod or something that's nice being able to detach and work with. Or even keys..?

My scissors cut paper nicely, small things like string or hair it doesn't cut at all. I really like the bit kit too. I love the bits because it enables one to switch from flathead to Phillips very easily. When your unsure about what kind of screw heads your going to encounter this works really well.
