The little notch in the jaws you mentioned as being the wire stripper is actually for cutting harder wire. The wire stripper is a little v at the base of the can/bottle opener. You don’t need the lanyard attachment that comes with it, if you look hard, there is one built in to the handle you can flick up! Not sure why they supply an extra one

Great vid, Rob. The stretch side holders are perfect for a variety of accessories. The right side elastic perfectly holds Leatherman's Bit Extender accessory. The left side elastic I use to securely hold and protect an Olight i3T EOS flashlight lens down with or without it's pocket clip affixed. Others use the left side to hold Leatherman's Ratcheting Driver Extension inserted with it's wider portion at the top. I find my Charge Plus Ti to be one of my most frequently used multitools, in addition to my Victorinox Swiss Champ!! If the task at hand is heftier I'll grab one of my Leatherman Surge+ multitools. Keep up the great work!

Just bought this tool love it has all the tools i commonly use great work tool that you always have on you and leatherman is the best for the multi tools

What screw head type and size do you need to tighten or loosen the screws on the CHARGE+TTi? Thanks for the nice review.

It’s a T10 Torx but I believe it is a version called tamper proof because it has a pin inside the middle of the hole. Your TorX Security bit has to have a hole in it.

hello I have a problem with my leatherman plus TTI 832528 charge, I noticed that there was a little play on the Titanium pallet on the 8 screws which hold it, I can move the pallets by hand by 0.5mm , I wonder if it's normal, if I have to tighten them or it's normal, if someone can help me please, a known problem?

Are you using the security Torx bits or screw driver? They have a hole in middle, so you need that to get into the Torx screw to tighten it.

@@Robs_Nerdy_Knives I went and bought two and now it's better, now I wonder if I should put glue on the screws that hold the blades because the screws come loose easily

@rabbittoocute1931 consider some Locktite 242. If you do, make sure the groves on the screw and in the pivot are dry, Locktite needs that to not have oil to set for 24 hours. Once done, it holds up pretty well.

You might of bought an open box. I have the exact same one and mine came with all the bits. One open space but that bit is in the multi tool

I looked online and at different sites, and all I can find is a reference to 8 bits but all pictures or videos have 6 in the sheath and 2 used on the multi tool. Do you have more info on what else should be been included?

So this week I ordered my Charge Plus TTI from Amazon full price from the Leatherman Store and the seller being Leatherman Group so it was the official seller I'm guessing. I opened it up from the circle sealed sticker with a knife then proceeded to take a look at the contents. The tool I got looked modified. At first I thought it was a fake. This is my first Leatherman tool ever btw. I noticed the knife did not have S30V written on it, the serrated knife had no gut hook, the file was used, the mini screwdriver for glasses etc was missing, a Phillips bit was worn down, and the scaling had a little bit of wear. The Leatherman store gave me a full refund and gifted me the tool and said it was probably a return. What I actually got was the previous owner probably ordered it and swapped out all the Charge+ TTI tools and put a mix of Wave or Blast in it then returned it for the refund. The pliers are clearly the retired Blast or Wave Gen2 after researching online. I will be buying the TTI from another store now, but I'm glad I get to keep a freebee that has usable tools inside albeit not the original tools. Also to add to it there was a bit holder filled to the max with bits more than it was supposed to have and came with the sheath. I feel overjoyed. Thank you Leatherman for making my Friday a very happy one and keep making amazing tools. Although I would say please check your returns to make sure they contain the tools they're supposed to contain else try to sell it off a different way perhaps stating its used. I will continue to buy their products regardless.

I know the rebar pliers will fit in the wave and the reber tools will fit in the handle tools of the wave a charge ( rebar pliers are so much stronger)

Yea I got the rebar pliers in my wave the rebar awl in place of the scissors, than I got the charge s30 straight blade swap, and plan to do a victorinox scissor swap the the serrated blade ( TexasToolCrib channel did it step by step looked easy enough) by the way you also have great content Sir keep up yhe good work.

@@Robs_Nerdy_Knivesoh Yea I've been looking at it since REI released those on accident a month ago it seems darm near perfect out side tools one handed everything and that magnacaut blade does really tempt me.
