What "budget" versions of name brand EDC tools should I compare next?

Your content is great man. I think you'll become one of the next big EDC KZbinrs.

I would like to see more budget comparison videos! That way I don’t have to pay for the full priced version if the cheaper version is good 😅

That is definitely something I could do more of. I recently posted a KZbin Short of the Benchmade Bugout vs a Walmart knockoff. I would love to do a full review comparing the two!

Great video as always! Appreciate how clean your workspace is. Those super high HD camera's pick up everything and yours is spotless. You've inspired me to go clean mine. Look forward to next vid. 👍

@@VisitorPrime Hahaha thanks again! It’s crazy how quickly things can get messy! Although having a place for everything allows me to clean it up real fast! Recording videos is usually what messes everything up, although it surprises me on how quickly I can get my stuff straitened back out! Thanks man! Next Monday will be another video! Maybe a short too!

Leatherman's are known to break also so... you could have the Gordan as a backup while the Leatherman is being repaired under warranty 😊
@LoadoutEDC2 ай бұрын
@@jimmypennell8831 That is true! Might not be a bad idea to have both for that reason. Plus, I like being able to beat on this Gordan knowing it can easily be replaced for $40 if it gets messed up!

Another great video. Is the Leatherman US-made?
@LoadoutEDC2 ай бұрын
Thanks! Leatherman claims they are still made in Portland, Oregon. I believe there might be a few specific things that are made overseas though.

Good content 👌. I've had my eyes on a Gordon since they were released. They're hard to keep in stock at my HF. I do own a Leatherman and a Bibury Surge clone. Honestly the Bibury is well made with great features and reasonable priceed. That makes it difficult to decide what to purchase 😅
@LoadoutEDC2 ай бұрын
@@jimmypennell8831 I’ll have to check that out too! Although, after a few months of use, I’m sure you will like this Gordan!

We'll probably see more clones of high end knives/multi tools due to patents expiring. I may have to pick one of these up 🤔
@LoadoutEDCАй бұрын
@@milli1550 Do you know which patents are expiring? After using this Gordan everyday along with the new Ozark knife, I am very happy with the price vs quality. I’ve actually preferred this tool over the Leatherman so far
@milli1550Ай бұрын
@@LoadoutEDC I'm not sure, I just heard that's why certain knives/tools (or certain aspects of them, such as locking mechanisms) are being cloned by other companies. 🤷
@milli1550Ай бұрын
@@LoadoutEDC I have a knife made by Dispatch, my uncle got it for me off of Amazon. It's almost identical to a Bugout and runs about $30. I've had it for a while and the quality is very good.

@@milli1550 That’s awesome! I am the kind of person who will spend the money where it makes sense. But some of these clones are actually really nice for what it’s worth
