'Leave immediately': Two SWLA towns evacuated due to worsening Tiger Island wildfire

Residents of the Town of Merryville and the surrounding area are asked to “leave immediately” as the Tiger Island Fire is within 2 miles of the town.
A mandatory evacuation has been issued for Neale Oilfield Road and north to La. 190 W.
The fire jumped Neale Oilfield Road and is burning northbound in the direction of La. 190 W.
