Hi! My hair is finally growing back. What are your thoughts on using my mild 2% salicylic face wash on my hair? The current length is a little longer than a fade. I was dealing with dry skin and scalp but both have improved since moving to a more humid climate. Love you Glam Fam!!!!!

Spoken like a true educator. Most children learn best by engaging in hands on experiences. As an adult I learn best by this method. I've often find myself in a beauty supply aisle reading labels trying to find products that works for my hair type. You managed to break the differences in conditioners in 6:40!! Thanks and may God continue to use you as a vessel🙏

Thanks for the content. Three years natural and finally figured it out. Channeled my mom the beautician, her regimen for my hair. Now, very consistent, growth was never a issue, because of my diet. Stopped washing every week, my moisture retention has improved greatly. Wash every 3 to 4 weeks like she did. I do my hair every day like she did. Don't sleep in bonnets, hats, or any of that stuff. Just braid at night and do my hair in the morning. Has grown tremendously. I do hair masks with Ayurveda protects. It's a relief and without all the hair fuss. Takes me the same time to do my natural hair as my long relaxed hair did without any heat. That's all I wanted from my journey was consistency. DNA and nature does the rest. Never had short hair or breakage coming into it, from childhood. Biggest lesson, one size doesn't fit all.

Hi nice seeing you ! Very good distinguish of conditioner and of leave in and wash out. Hair masque is another one of when coating sections of hair at a time and leave it on for 1 hour or 2 then rising out. That method is too drying for my low porosity hair..I have been using Ayurvedic herbs such as Amla fir a hair treatment once or twice a month. No chemicals hair products anymore.

So happy to find your YT! You are clear and concise and your knowledge is so so helpful! I am making a mission to learn how to style my naturally curly hair and properly use products to aid me for a wonderful blow out style; my hair holds style well but I need to figure out how to make it look great myself for every day. I’m in my 50’s and I have literally struggled my whole life and have a lot of not too happy stories with how stylists use to work my hair. Shall I start with thinning scissors?!!! Hence, most people that knew me never expect my hair to be, simply, nice - especially from the old days and frankly it’s insulting. I am not a hair stylist so what do they want from me and then when I get a blow out, people think I have extensions or something. My hair has been my nemesis since I was a kid and it crushed my spirits every time my mother cut my long hair off because she nor anyone else knew what yo do with it. And the only people who complimented it were little old ladies - everywhere I went. So naturally I felt, as a vulnerable early teen - ugly and hopeless. I was told that my hair was ‘coarse’ - it’s not -as I learned most curly auburn hair is fine. That it is ‘frizzy’ - but it needed the right products and styling and cool water and cold shots. It’s dry, it’s this, it’s that… How about saying nothing or just give a compliment- not a backhanded one, either. Or, maybe some advice. When my hair is long and curly- I love it! Long spiral curls. Sorry if it’s not for everyone. I’ve at least experienced some nice compliments, too, but overall - my hair just has made me feel less about myself more often than not; and I’m so thrilled to finally find stylists who know what they are doing; that after so so long I too can have nicely styled hair. So, I’m intending to learn all the types of products I can use in a blow out as I finally understand that more than one product can be used while styling and for different purposes (it’ll take some time for the right formula I imagine). The things I wish I knew before now! I’m also recovering from a lot of hair loss but it’s finally growing back in and I pray it grows longer and maybe I can have long curly hair again, but in the meantime, instead of just flat ironing (a tool I am thankful for), I can add volume and body. Thank you for your videos! I’ll be looking through them and hope to be able to do my do a nice blowout on my own hair with volume and style.

increase the application of conditioners. Oh yeah you need to use them correctly too. To get my ultra-dry hair super moisturised, I apply leave in and hot towel steam daily and shampoo and deep condition with hot towel steam weekly. I also keep my hair wrapped in a satin or silk scarf a lot. The reason, I wrap it up, is because, cold outdoor air, extreme sunlight, airconditioning and central heating, dries out my hair.
