What caught my attention about the Gambia was the low cost of living but Im not hearing about quality health care
@zandelalifeBizGambia7 күн бұрын
There is no quality health care at the moment the speed to get seen and investigation for health problems is very different from the UK I had a X-Ray, ultrasound and CT scan all in 3 days but unfortunately was told by two surgeons/specialists that I should get it treated outside of Gambia due to the poor after care. So health care is definitely something to consider if you’re wanting to live here with previous health conditions. If your someone with medial background your experience and standards are definitely needed in Gambia

Do people ship their items back when they leave the Gambia!
@zandelalifeBizGambia9 күн бұрын
@@bl10ved84 Hi, No many people unfortunately have to sell them at a lot lower rate than they brought. There is a company called Red Coat but the cost per kilo means it would be cheaper to just buy the items again when you get back.

It’s easy , sell them and if u have a land , ppl ready to buy it. High demand 😊
@zandelalifeBizGambia7 күн бұрын
@@mohamedsdiabyI wouldn’t say it’s easy as most people spends thousands of pounds shipping the entire content of their house only to realise 2yrs later they cannot stay usually for financial reasons or they don’t like it. To then have to sell all your stuff for a fraction of the price is extremely hard for many so this is why I really try to give advise on not only ways to stay, things to avoid but also business or making money

@@firstsecretslow cost importation of quality goods is a well needed and welcomed investment in Gambia. It’s makes me so sad that I see so many companies literally sending the trash of their product line into Gambia for people to consume. I can say that Gambia have good medical specialists but we do not have the tools to operate. Must of treatments of serious health issues are treated outside because the health system is not fully supported. In simple terms the health care is neglected.
