Hello Mam, In my salary slip there is no component for LTA/LCS in FY 2020-21. But the company is providing it as flexi allowance when someone submit the bills. I have not submitted any bills for LTA during FY 2020-21, So, it is not showing in my salary slip. But, I have purchased laptop and mobiles in March 2021, which are having GST of more than 12%. Can I claim the expense of my goods in ITR FY 2020-21 (submitted already, but revise ITR option is there) under Cash Voucher Scheme 2021 in LTA?

Hi Naziya, so LTA is not claimed by traveling or without traveling details within the block of 4 years, then in the end of those 4 years we will be paid back the LTA amount by not deducting or deducting the tax based on travel status right?

You will get paid every year as per the amount mentioned but after tax deduction but if you want to claim only twice you can claim with a block of 4 years without tax deduction it will be paid

Mam, My doubts: 1.Can’t we claim LTA for car travel? 2. 2 journeys means only two time travel ticket price? can’t we claim all my journeys during leave period by saving invoices and claiming all at a time (less than LTA amount in Payslip) 3. 1. Only bus, train and flight you can claim 2.yes you can claim only for 2 journey considering your family i e., Dependents too 3. Only 2 journeys along with dependents that's what the rules are

One Question: I am getting LTA in my salary and i traveled by Air in Nov 2022 from New Delhi -To- Trivandrum and I submitted the bills for this one-way travel to my employer in January 2023 and the flight amount got approved and reflected in my form-16 as well under section 10(5) but I also traveled return journey from Madurai To Agra Cantt in 3rd AC and i forgot to claim it to my employer. Can i claim it in my ITR filling by increasing the amount value in section 10(5)? Does return journey in 3rd AC can be claimed in LTA? FYI, the Flight amount was Rs 14000 whereas the return journey train amount was = Rs 4500/. So can i claim it as a total Rs 18500 in section 10(5)? please clarify
