James, if you are ever near Barrow in Furness, call into Greens Bakery, fantastic pies, allsorts of them. Family ran, fresh each morning and loved by the Hairy Bikers.

As a Burnley FC fan it pains me to say but these pies look lovely and I'm going to have to sample. Great review. Had another Paul's Pie from Preston Christmas Dinner Pie today...amazing

For me, there was a bit too much jelly in the pork pie for my liking, but the filling in the other two looked quality. Pricing was very good also. Thanks for the post. 👍🏻

To be fair mate, there was plenty of jelly in it. Tasted really good though and didn't take anything away from it...the ratio was good for me. Cheers.👍

Steak pie looked delicious as did the meat and potato but not sure about the meat pie, looked more like a pork pie.Get your self over to Yorkshire and you will be amazed at the grub we have.

Otley has three butchers who do great pies.appletons in Wetherby also and the butcher next to the bridge in Tadcaster does a cracking pork pie.Voakes in Whixley also make delicious pies,rolls etc.
