The name suits this piece so well. When I listen and I close my eyes, I can only imagine golden colored leaves falling off a tree and being gently transported sideways with the wind. The little melody with the right hand reminds of fall throughout the entire composition while the left ensures a feeling of... not happiness, but kindness. It is one of my most favourite pieces to play, it's relaxing and can change my worst mood after a single repeat of the main theme. I came accross it along with Gentle and Letting Go in a music game and I've loved your work ever since. Your style of writing has a very melodic sense and isn't too complicated to play, probably why I love learning your songs so much. May the inspiration never quit you.

First piece of yours I heard several years back... Still one of my absolute favorite piano pieces, second only to another one of your pieces "Before Dawn." Keep up the great work!

So, I played this song in a recital, and I kid you not, people came up to me afterwards and told me how this song almost made them cry.

This song reminds me of a flash game called Music Catch and I wished Rayark might add your songs into Deemo (Rayark's music game) like what they did to some of Brian Crain's songs.

:-) Thanks! This is actually the song from Music Catch 2; I created both the music and the games. www.IsaacShepard.com | www.TheMusicMaze.com

how do you feel about the music that you made a decade ago?
@isaacshepard9 жыл бұрын
H Good question. Of the piano music that I published a decade ago, I still like most of it. As for a bunch of my other styles of music and my unpublished piano music, to be honest, I sometimes cringe when I hear it again. It's hit or miss for those. So, I guess it depends.
