Ive done the water bottle thing before! You need to get the water colder than just a fridge temp and then you can shake it, you don’t have to hit it just once on the table. I did mine when it snowed and I left the bottle in my car and that was cold enough!!

The water to ice trick does work!!!!!! Just stand the water bottle straight in the freezer and do it quickly when you take it out of the freezer. Dont set it on the counter. Just bang it!
