In this video I'm clearing out of Grenada from Carriacou, Also preparing for my solo sailing to Martinique and explaining a little about how I do this.
It's not impossible to travel in these times it just takes a bit more planning.

Hi Thomas, for us dreamers, it would be nice if you share you experience, e.g. when show your document pack, do not hide it away. Instead show what documents you need going around where you are. In this way you create added value for the audience. Always think, "what's in it for me watching this". The more you share of your knowledge and experience, the better. What is the draft of BE FREE?

I calculate with almost 3 m so I need 3,5 + as absolute minimum to sneak in. if calm sea. Depending on tide water I never anchor in less 4-5 meter on low tide

The boat must point beautifully, but clearly there will be places that are essentially of limits.e.g the Bahamas

Thank you for your request and I never realised it was so much interest for this as it’s so straight forward to me. There is some docking situations in older episodes, but for sure could make a more detailed video about it. I will try to remember rigging up cameras and explain how I do things when I’m going back to Shelter Bay Marina in Panama in a few weeks. Cheers 🍻
