Thank you so much for watching and for your support.
In this episode, I'm opening season 3
The weather predictions and navigation warnings were promising high seas and strong winds.
I wanted to go sailing to test my boat and gear as I love sailing in strong wind. Such a long time since I had really good sailing because normally the wind is not that great in the Caribbean. The last time something similar to the conditions back home or in Europe was when beating my way from Panama to Martinique.
Living in Grenada has been such a blessing not only because it's the friendliest people in the whole Caribbean, but also a covid free bubble for a long time. Did lots of sailing on different yachts, explored the island, and made tons of new friends. But now it's time to start sailing!
Everything I do and has done last months is more or less preparing for my Pacific crossing.

I'm Sailing around the world in a Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard.
Please be kind in the comments!.

Hey legend, what a great video, we really enjoyed it. A deep bow for you doing everything solo and don't worry about seeing yourself. You are a handsome captain and we know the feeling a bit, just make some fun about it and tell yourself you are actually doing it and that's the biggest step. We love what you are doing. Much love and Feel the Breeze man. 😍

Good job saving your sail just a shame about the go pro im sure the footage would show people how to handle this sort of thin in rough conditions and to do it single handed shows how experienced you are. Looking forward to going threw the rest of your videos. Keep up the great work !

Inkl inne i teknisk rom, maskinrom osv. Også gass alarm ved dørken. Håper du fortsetter å følge meg på reisen, og ønsker deg alt godt for det nye året! ⛵️

Yeah I love this flush deck! The GoPro was one thing but the epic recording was sad to loose. Would been such a great video to show how to save a big sail in high seas alone

Hey Gary! Happy you found my channel and your prayers have been heard 🤣 I have been sailing since age of 7 and been racing a big variety from 7 to 70 feet. From cold artic north of the artic circle to almost equator so far. And several seasons in the Med. Last job was for the Norwegian search and rescue where I also was volunteer for a long time, and captain. Been building and restoring several boats from very young age up to last project almost 10 years ago. Still learning new things every day! All the best

Hey thnx!! Happy new year and you’re totally right. I’m happy it was the 5 and not the 7 that was sacrificed to Neptune🙏🏻 I’m saving up money to expand with more GoPros and a new MacBook.

Thank you 🙏🏻I have Garmin and Raymarine Evolution. Two stand alone computers that’s controlling the hydraulic pumps individually. I throw out the Lewmar electric direct drive as it was scary experience with it just crashing without warnings and impossible to move the rudders. Imagine that happening in a marina or complicated manoeuvres... Hydraulics from Lecomble and Schmidt works great now. Fully redundant and can switch between computers and the 2 stand alone hydraulic systems with push of a button.

It's a toast you should offer Neptune, not a GoPro ;) Maybe that's the reason for the Code-Zero problems?
