Let me take you back to happy days in the exotic region of San Blas, Panama.
In this episode, I'm sharing my thoughts of where to next and also how I have spent my last days in Martinique.

It's definitely a complicated time being a sailor but there are also lots of opportunities and options. The key to having success as a sailor nowadays is planning and being realistic. ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I'm trying to sail around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.
Even though this is season 3 on youtube I have already sailed 4 seasons full time but did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since.

I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. The day I believe I know it all and don't think I can learn new things I should go ashore.

Thanks for another great video and allowing me to see someone 'living the dream.' Watching your videos just increases my anticipation of travelling again when we get Covid in the rear view mirror. Nice video Thomas. Great to see you and your friends having fun. Good assessment of the people at San Blas Islands. Agree with your decision not to go to the Pacific this year. There seems little point in going when almost all is shut and you would have to pass by. Stay safe.

Hi there and Thank you for watching🙏🏻 At the moment I’m not updated on clearing in protocols for the San Blas region. I’m planning on either Bocas or Colon first as I’m most likely going to San Andres first. Last tim I was there I also cleared in at Shelter Bay Marina and also payed my cruising permit there. It’s an additional cruising fee to pay for San Blas, and some islands even ask for a few dollars to anchor in their bay. Cheers 🍻
