This is huge and EXACTLY what we need in this world of dentistry. This is coming from a current and over ten year user of Cerec. The last few years I’ve started to see the writing on the wall…and Dentsply is making leaps backwards in many areas ESPECIALLY support!

Congratulations! The lab I used to work at only used InLab, but the lab I’m at now uses Exocad. After I got used to Exocad, I can never go back to InLab. Exocad has been a major game changer in CAD softwares, have fun playing with it! Enjoy!

Great news Dr. Klim. I have been a Cerec user for over 15 years....Red Cam to Blue Cam to OmniCam to PrimeScan. And every journey with Cerec has been centered around you and what I have learned from you. Love your seminars. I quote you often in my seminars that I teach. I can't wait to see you on your next journey....and hopefully we will cross paths in the future.

Dr. Klim thank you so much for your honest and ethical perspective. I recently found your channel and have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. You’ve even inspired me to enter the cerec workflow. Currently looking at buying an MCXL/omnicam and if I do I’ll definitely be a cadstar student. Thanks again for all that you do for dentistry.

Frankly I’m not surprised. I learned more about CEREC and taking my restorations to the next level from you James than any other training. We are now one of the largest CEREC practices in the south and we use Ivoclar products with our CEREC almost exclusively. They are a great company. I’m excited to see where this new partnership takes you. Congrats and good luck!!

Thank you Dr Klim, I have been a Cerec user since the old days of powdering and “ dots” on the screen trying to imagine what tooth restoration will look like. Your passion and teaching skills have been my go to as I have updated to the present day. I trust your judgement and dental philosophy and wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments on this video. We live in an age of what should be digital openness and not closed mindedness if you catch my drift. Thank you for your dental and technical expertise. All the best. Dr Joel Sardzinski

Thanks James- those things needed to be said. I have appreciated and used your advice for many years and even as a Cerec user of some 15 yrs still find your thoughts and skills very impressive. DS seem rather focused on 1hr Cerec total production rather than quality and I was upset to find that my new Primemill produces posterior crowns with such big internal voids - often making restoration thin at a critical point, and I have had to alter prep style and checking procedure for every unit because of that big 1.4 bur! What a backward step- surely they could give us back a smaller left bur? Obsessing over speed rather than getting things right is a recipe for Cerec failure and all day clincal stress in my view. Your comments about Cerec being a closed system are also true and frustrating- I feel I should be able to design a smile on my Primescan software, seat the design and print a model of that design so that I can make a stent for temporaries, but I will have to learn InLab as well if I want to do that, which seems crazy. That forces me to have to send designs to third parties asking them to print models, which is annoying. Hope to continue hearing more from you and wish you every success with your new venture. Dr. Klim I enjoy and learned a great amount of information watching you videos, as a long term CEREC user and a previous Lab Tech I find my self very disappointed to have traded my MCXL InLAB unit for a Primemill. I went from milling up to 8 unit bridges and being able to chose tooth morphology and many other benefits that now are all gone with every update on the Primemill. I still have a second MCXL not the in lab version that I use, but the updates also eliminated the ability I had to mill 3 unit bridges on this mill. I feel that progress has been restricted in exchange for the convenience of a single unit restoration. I hope Sirona opens up the old benefits we had with prior versions, of course maintaining the speed and accuracy of the PrimeScan.

Hello Dr , What is your opinion of cerasmart 270? Did you suffer a fracture with this material?
@KlimDDS
@KlimDDS Жыл бұрын
Cerasmart is an excellent material. Within our portfolio of materials, we need more that one choice based on the application. Any material can fracture including Zirconia, it comes down to applications relative to preparation and the conditions of the mouth. All the best.

PM5 and PM7 bit.ly/3EQhmuq. They have proven to be very reliable and effective in the laboratory. I do want a puck milling unit and 5 axis. This will usually not be the same day but will provide more support for larger cases etc.

Zirkonzahn is a bit for enthusiasts you need dental technician. I visited this awesome company a couple of years ago in southern Tyrolia when choosing between InLab with MC-X5 and Zirkonzahn and chose InLab for compatibility with Primescan. I use zirconia from AmannGirrbach Zolid fx or Gen-X.

@@MultiZahor Mc x5 is an another possible milling system. Are you satisfied with : quality of machine, Service and so on. In the future I need a system: I can do longer bridges and even implant supported bridges. Sorry to say but finding technicians that support your idea or understanding is quite difficult. And thanks to people like Janes Klin🙏 I love more and more working with technical part: It gives better understanding and helps to Help people better and better
@MultiZahor

@@jakefatman4876 MC-X5 is precise system with minimum maintenance (once a year calibration not necessary). In combination with Primescan, you can afford design and mill 12 unit bridge fully digitaly. It lacks some customized setting for nesting or so what could potentionaly allow you to mill more units from one disc. But it is as simple as possible with perfect results. My wife is dentist and I am dental technician (this happened when she looked for perfect technician… i became one)
