Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths 2020 Paper 1 Question 6

In this question from the leaving cert higher level maths exam 2020 paper 1 question 6 we have our second calculus question. Part a is differentiation from first principles, part b then we have to differentiate a natural log function and then use this to integrate a function finding the area under the curve.

How do you get half log when you integrate in part iii

your supposed to take the function from part i of b as you cant integrate h'(x) without using integration by substitution which isnt in the course

5:05 hiw do u know its times the derivative of whats inside the bracket. is thar in the forumula table book or did u just have to learn that off.
