Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths 2021 Paper 1 Question 3

This is the solution video to leaving cert higher level maths 2021 paper 1 question 3. This is an area and functions question. Part a is quite interesting, it gives the area of each face of a cuboid and you are asked to find the volume. In part b we start by solving a simple quadratic equation and then use the answer to solve an indices equation.

Can you explain how 3^2m+1 goes to 3(3^m)^2 ?

I forgot to change log3(3) to 1, so annoying now that I realise.
