We loved this area when we were there last year. The museum at Crazy horse was one of the best exhibits of Native American art I have ever seen. Well worth seeing.

U.S. 20 through Wyoming and Idaho is known as the Fly Highway. In fact a documentary with Tom Skerrit is The Fly Highway. Called that for the best fresh water fly fishing in the world!

There is also a tinged feeling of ennui that comes with road trips. You see so many beautiful sights and then realize that it's impossible to see them all. It would take you 20 lifetimes to see most of the planet.

I would super super super highly recommend to try using your navigation feature on your phone , if you don't know how to use it just giving it some time to play around you'd learn fast . I always just used Google maps and on my latest trip I got lost , played around with the navigation feature and man what a difference , to think about all the time over the past few years I had the navigation feature but I never used it. better late then never I guess. There's probably KZbin videos showing how to use the navigation. Good luck

Did you know generally, north-to-south highways are odd numbered, lowest numbers in east, highest in west. East-to-west are even numbered, lowest numbers in north, highest in south.
