Oh yes, Braxton-Hicks. I remember them well. I too had them starting at about 16 weeks. It's a really strange feeling, but normal. And not sleeping well... Yeah. If you can, try to nap during the day. You'll be really tired when the baby comes and the best advice someone gave me is to nap when the baby naps. You look beautiful Sara! Luca, what a wonderful supportive partner you are to Sara and what a wonderful Daddy you are going to be! Try to stay rested and healthy, both of you. I love the vlog!!

Oh a tip for the couch. Buy a spray waterproof for it. I used a 3M product I used myself. Just spray it down and let it dry. It can be re applied again later it needed. All liquids just bead up and run off and you don't even feel it.

Love the daily vlog idea! It's really fun to see regular life in Italy. The produce looks fabulous. Where I live, we are observing the seventh sabbatical year of rest for agricultural fields, so unless you are able to or willing to pay a lot of money for imported prooduce, the options for fresh produce dwindle as the year progresses (or unless you have access to hydroponically grown produce). Even your IKEA looks a little different from the IKEA stores here. Love this glimpse into daily life in Italy! Thanks for taking us along! 💙

We have two IKEA stores here in the Lucca area...one near Florence, the other near Pisa...and we never get tired of shopping at them...loved seeing the grocery buying also...amazing prices at the bigger stores! We bought the same sofa a couple years ago. It didn’t last. It started out great, but after about a year and a half it became so uncomfortable, the foam collapsed and got soft. We finally replaced it with a quality piece. I hope you have better luck!! We were talking to you, saying to the TV: “No, don’t do it!”.
