@hansstrouf3 жыл бұрын
He should do some research before talking nonsense, the Fn Fal prototype was finished in 1939, Fn made the two formidable rifles together the Fn 49 patent was filed in 1937 and the Fal is just a transformation, Fn goes from the wood has aluminum and polymer, the Fn Fal is more pregnant than the MP 44, this German rifle was developed by prisoners of war from FN, it is overestimated very heavy and imprecise.

Unfortunately I was too young in those days to buy one, and now they absolutely rarely emerge on the collectors market, and in case at very high price. Luckily we have here still a good quantity of L1A1's or demil StG58's around at reasonable prices.

Many of those rifles were spread between civilians and militias group. And you’re right the crescent is the Lebanese cedar tree that you can find on our national flag.

In Australia we had wood furniture right until the end when the F88 replaced it. They did away with the wood of the same shape as the plastic ones on this rifle late in the Vietnam war and refined it to the 2nd pattern with a rounded shape and round drilled vent holes. The wood on ours was really solid though. I'm pretty sure it was a eucalypt of some type and was very strong.
