I think where people have the whole Deion narrative wrong is Deion loves prepping boys to become men. In terms of his coaching he's wise enough to put the prep in the hands of his oc and dc and runs it as a corporation. In regard to the reality show they already have 2 seasons of TV built out for Amazon Prime and have done reality shows on the old high school and at Jackson. Deion has held high profile jobs in media at NFL Net and being a speaker. It truly seems as if he sees this as his calling, not coaching pros. I could see him being a college coach for the next decade at least. It just may not be at Colorado as I see him having a desire to disprove doubters that he can do it without his his sons and Travis whether it be at Colorado or not.

It’s like you guys are totally unfamiliar with Deion. He’s already been in media. He changed jobs to help his sons. He loves kids. This is not about his becoming a media personality. He’s already done that.

Prime time is a great coach. He’s proved it on multiple levels now, give him his flowers for real and don’t just wave it away with a weak analogy and zero substance claiming the end is nigh and it’s all for show. He clearly sees leadership as a higher calling, and has talked about the limitations of his powers (like not being able to coach in the NFL), he’s a lot more level headed and thoughtful about these decisions then he’s credited for when you frame it as just being charisma and inevitably he’ll end up just a paid personality. Doesn’t seem to be what he wants for himself, probably would see that as settling which he clearly does not.

Instead he blames talent but when confronted with his role on Sports Reporters he says I was just talent blame the executives. Suggestions that Deion is the best coach in college is very premature. He hasn't won a College Playoff game or Championship. Nor has he done it over a length of time. In the end he may become the best coach in the game but he's not their yet.
