Appreciate sport fans who don't go 4 the greatest this, greatest that, who's better, etc thing coz they don't contribute 2 polarizing issues. All athletes face their own unique conditions while learning their craft. They should all be credited 4 making the path a little easier/better 4 the next generation. The pioneers of a sport r the 1's who had it real tough, they didn't even have anyone 2 look 2 4 inspiration & serve as templates 4 their game. They learned everything trial & error.❤

Most beautiful part of this video is when they talk about his time at Rucker park. So many kids these days have no idea how amazing the summer league Rucker park games were back in the 60s and 70s and how the best of the best legends would come and play there to prove themselves even if they had decorated careers. Joe the destroyer Hammond is perhaps the best out of all the legends whom dropped 50 points on dr j in one single half after showing up high to the game at half time in a fancy ass car. So many other insane atheltes like the highest human jumper ever Jackie Jackson aka Cracker Jack, ollie Taylor, fly Williams, Earl Manigault, helicopter, pee wee Kirkland etc… gave us incredible shows along with nba legends like Charlie Scott, doctor j, Connie, Earl, wilt, Kareem, etc… most of whom got famous on that very court. If the kids today seen the footage back then, they’d have a whole different perspective on the talent of guys back in the day especially when restriction free of the strict ways of the nba which really made the game harder but yeah, golden age Rucker park was something special among special moments in history. Can’t beat these once in a lifetime generational moments or in this case, eras

That smoking may be cool, but it'll tear you up. Check yourself when you're 40 - all you can look at is outside. Your insides, never made for outside wear ?

MJ is the GOAT however, Julius is my GOAT. I knew more about this dude from on the street chatter, and had no idea what he looked like. Only those that had cable which was new at that time seen him! when I did see him, I had to find a way to get over the front of that dam rim!!
