I was sad Lebron left Miami because Lebron+DWade chemistry was special. But I think he had to keep his promise to Cleveland and that’s what made him the GOAT period. It’s bigger than basketball it’s about keeping promises and doing it for your city

As a Bulls fan/reformed generational hater, what the 2nd guy said is correct. He is 1B to MJ's 1A, and it alternates depending on what factor you're looking at. I blame the 2000's/ early 2010's media where hating on a 22 year old kid on a dogshit franchise could make you household TV name. I could never as an adult man now, hate on someone like Wemby who's still a kid and finding his own place in the league. Lebron dragged a washed up team to the finals in his third year as a 22 year old, and all I remember hearing was mocking him for getting swept. MJ was allowed to grow into the legend he became without this kind of hate and scrutiny, that would have crushed literally anyone else.
