Sorry if this is a long comment. The journalism in this video is phenomenal. I've been using KZbin since it first came out back when I was in high school. I have never once, until now, subscribed to a channel, posted a video, or left a comment. I know that's extremely wrong but after time went by I felt like it would be such a disservice to worthy content creators that I didn't support in the past to start doing it at that moment. You are truly great at what you do. Don't ever let anyone else convince you otherwise. I quit following the sport over a decade ago. This video came on by chance and I watched the whole thing from start to end with no breaks except for ads. You could probably report on any subject at a very high level. Even though you shared a lot of your own opinions in this video you did it based off of facts and in a way that was totally unbiased. It was old school journalism in a new school way. Respect.

I am only halfway through this but I have a few thoughts: 1. This video is a masterpiece. You left no stone unturned and you made it genuinely hard to stop watching; I am legitimately excited to finish this. 2. You are hilarious and your commentary makes this whole thing worthwhile. "That was not funny, oh my god that was so unfunny" at 59:40 made me laugh out loud so hard that I had to immediately subscribe. 3. As someone who works on a KZbin channel that puts out 3-4 videos a month and just spent 50+ hours completing a 40 minute video, my brain cannot comprehend how much time you must have spent on this. I don't think enough people understand the amount of work this must have taken and how many times you probably wanted to throw your computer into the ocean while working on this. Casual fans... In an 18 month period Kyrie public trashed his own signature shoe causing Nike to lose million$ also tried to wreck a season and blow up the bubble. Dude woke up on a roster with 2 MVP players and decided to sit home while everyone else with the team showed up. (his choice - his consequence to own) then sent his BFF Kevin Durant not once but twice demanding a divorce. I been watching the NBA pretty religiously since MJ was a Bull and going to games since around the time Carmelo Anthony got drafted by the Nuggets. Pepsi Center memories.. But I have never ever seen anything like what Kyrie done...

I am a Caucasian, I go to 2-5 games a year. He sucked vs the Celtics in 2021. He said the world is flat. Fact. He did. I think it stunted what the 2018 or whatever is Tatums rookie year when they were one game away from the finals with rookie Tatum, Smart, Rozier, JB, etc and they almost took out Lebron. It made all the young boys have to step back for a way overrated Gordon Hayward. Let’s be clear NY dropped the vaccination bs so he could play in the playoffs. Boston then took out the Brooklyn Trash in 4. Kyrie KD and Harden could have been the best but Kyrie messed the whole team up and they all quit just like Kyrie did on EVERY TEAM HE HAS BEEN ON!!!!

i dont think kyrie was shitting on the fans. the media takes a narrative and runs with it because thats what sells for them. kyrie was simply pointiing out how exploitive, and manipltive they are by switching and deflecting "oh its for the fans" kyrie mayve done poorly in getting that across but clearly was frustarted with the media as a whole. media are nitorious for this btw

@1:59:00 that lengthy post is something that needed to be said and made all the sense to me. Sports news and the fans have become something very toxic.. the average athlete has been turned into a play thing for viewers and owners and treated like they have no emotions. It’s sad. After being loyal to a team for a few years, those same fans will not just boo you( which is perfectly fine) but now they will bully you and make personal threats online and really find ways to hurt your feelings. And yet society and the organizations just make the statement: “ hey! You are a high profile/rich athlete so deal with it! And you are a man! You should not let any of that bother you.” We all break down in life from stress and death every day and sometimes we just need to hide in bed. These athletes can’t do that and they get treated like trash on a daily. Always someone talking shit even after a great night performance. It’s a very toxic environment and fans become such bullies. The fans think they own these athletes and that these athletes live for their amusement and they can just treat em like garbage.. it’s sad and needs to be addressed
