Lebron got his points in garbage time in 2014 and still got gentleman swept.Refs helped him from getting swept.Heat had 3 all stars while Spurs only one(Parker who may have been the worst all dtar in the west that yeat).Lebron was 24% when guarded by Kawhi and 16% from 3.Lebron was dropping his points against the 2nd unit with 1 minutes remainung to bring the Spurs lead from +35 to like +23.I mean Lebron was really really really lucky to win it in 2013 too.Refs helped hom,Spurs missed shots,pure luck and Allen hitting that aamazing shot saved the HEAT.The next year Spurs got the last laugh

You're talking about a guy that came into the NBA fresh out of high school. He shouldered that responsibility beautifully, with tremendous grace he not only met but exceeded expectations. Made it to his first nba finals at the age of 22, and if it wasn't for a subpar organization, he maybe would have won a championship or two in his first run in Cleveland. Then he accomplished his goal and dream and won a championship at 27. He brought the Miami Heat 2 championships. Brought a championship to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the first time and fullfiled his promise. Then he opened up a school in his hometown with the promise of a college scholarship for graduates. That last one I believe is his greatest achievement. Now he is third all time in scoring....and he isn't even about scoring. Now he's going to add to it, by winning his fourth championship, his third with a different team, and bringing a championship back to the Lakers. LeBron James; the greatest of all time. I'm telling you man, appreciate this, witness this, because we won't see it again for a long time.

Reb: 4289 Tot Reb: 5836 Assists: 5012 Steals: 2306 Turnovers: 2589 All-Star Game Records Michael Jordan was the star among the stars, so he could be out of an All-Star records sheet. Record: most points, All-Star Game, career 262 Record: most field goals attempted, career 233 Record: most field goals made, career 110 Record: most field goals attempted, game 27 (2003) Record: total steals, career 37 Number of times MJ scored 50 or more points 38 games game high 69... Number of times Lebron scored 50 or more points 13 games game high 61.. MJ 6-0 finals = 100% win rate Lebron 4-6 finals = 40% win rate MJ is the reigning and ongoing 🐐 Although I respect Lebron as an great player and an absolute legend he just does not have the resume to challenge MJ is the goat category..he still be chasing

@@puckstopper1937 You can't even analyze how great MJ's scoring record was. MJ scored the most points in every single season he played in his prime. Not a single season he was outscored by anybody. He was averaging 32-33 ppg a season while his rivals were scoring almost 10 ppg less than him. And having 80 point games in the 80s and 90s was normal and Jordan would still score 30+. The share of points scored by jordan compared to the average score per game was much higher as well. The bulls style of play didn't favour Jordan getting assists and rebounds even then the one season he had the ball more he averaged 32.5 8 and 8 something which Lebron never did till the 2017 Season. For all the talk about how well rounded a player Lebron is and how much he runs the plays he never averaged 8 and 8 till his 14th season. And yeah Jordan was a perimeter player who averages more offensive rebounds than Lebron which also indicates hes a better rebounder which is not surprising given he was faster and jumped higher than Lebron ever could.

Winning is about what you do when it counts, how you influence the outcome of the game to win. The records you accumulated over your career versus what when and how you impacted the win , or the winning of game's means more. Nobody and I mean nobody has set the bar higher than Michael Jordan. This is why all the comparisons, all the accomplishments, all the accolades, all the records in regular seasons, all the records in the playoffs, and the college records, and accomplishments, and a NCAA championship, the two Olympics gold medals, and the defensive player of the year, the steal titles 3 of them, and the 6 championships, and 6 finals mvp's that he a massed in 13 years that prove no one is better at basketball, and on all levels of the game he beat the best to be the best. Michael Jordan without a doubt is the greatest of all times. Lebron haven't even approached this level of excellence, or the performances that separate him and Michael Jordan apart from all other basketball players that have ever played the game today and past players as well. Since you don't know, you don't know over two hundred coaches ans scouts was watching Michael Jordan workouts. They were impressed with his efforts. But back when Michael Jordan played, everyone valued big men as the most important player to build a team around. Now as for Michael Jordan, coaches like Dean Smith, and his coaching staff at north Carolina were very impressed with how he trained and his very competitive nature. Coach Bobby Knight, said during getting the professional NBA players ready for Olympics that Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever, this wasn't just some random statement, he said he was the most skilled ever, the most competitive ever, and the most athletic ever, and with all that combined the greatest ever. He wasn't the only one noticing this Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird also said the very same thing even before he played a single game of NBA basketball. Now besides this he also proved it. And people from all over the world also started watching Michael Jordan play. It wasn't because he was average, it was because we all knew we was seeing the greatest basketball player of all times play right in front of us. Again every arenas were sold out when they knew Michael Jordan was playing their, and everybody was also watching on the television. He got standing ovations from all the people even the ones on other teams. Since you are trying to compare, go and check that out like you checked my truth. And if you believe so much that it's Lebron James then don't use or do Michael Jordan videos. I know Lebron James highlights are boring and are not even a comparisons to all the highlights that Michael Jordan got in just one game. But Michael Jordan got them in all of his games, and it would take you years before you could do them all. What you just said is statistically stagnant. Bill is well respected, but his 11 championships came in an era that was kind of developing with no real proper competition. Kareem again is well respected and should be always in a top 5 conversation. Wilt played in the same era as Bill and like Bill, just dominated and was ahead of his time. Magic and Jordan certainly played in the hardest era of the 80s and 90s in which it was both physically and mentally demanding with high competition. MJ will always be the GOAT mate and always will be. LeBron is a once in a generational player and top 3-5 of all time. but he aint MJ. End of story lad.

I think the majority of the people in the MJ Bron debate are like Chris Broussard where MJ is the goat but slightly but Lebron is #2 and could still potentially if he wins a few more pass him, and then there are the idiots on both sides who say like MJ would be Demar Derozan in this era or that Lebron couldn't handle the the physicality of 80s
@ryant.warren5737
@ryant.warren5737 3 жыл бұрын
Both would dominate in the different areas. Lebron is SO physical, he would easily be able to handle to 80's and 90's. Players like Curry would not be anywhere near as effective as he is so tiny. Jordan was such a physical player, he would dominate in these days as well....

Good comment! I agree, as someone who thinks MJ is the GOAT, I also acknowledge LeBron’s talent and great career thus far, but smh when I see people say that LeBron would be a bench player in the 80’s & 90’s just like I smh when I see people make the Derozan comparison to MJ in today’s game. ok to the comment that Mj needed scottie is because the league was for men at that time unlike now, if someone looks bad at lebron it is technical foul, fine, suspension and there is a minute of silence for so much violence. In addition, the strategy changed in the rotation of the ball and released Mj and other players so as not to be violated and to be able to score a basket, it was not only because of the arrival of Scottie Pippen.

GOAT debate is simple and people complicate it, if you consider: - RINGS, there is no debate Bill Russell is the GOAT - DOMINANCE one can argue about a few like: Lebron James, Wilt, Bill Russell, Jordan, Kareem,etc... - SHEER OVERALL QUALITY of the player: No debate, it is Lebron James, he can do it all. - Showmanship and Charisma: Westbrook, Kyrie, Kobe, Jordan, Iverson, Curry, Lebron, etc.... - The one who overcame more adversity: Lebron James

Lebron vs MJ: Defending LeBron's Legacy of why he doesn't already have 6-7 titles: Folks tell me why did LeBron lose to the Dallas Mavericks? Why did LeBron James and the Early Cavs struggle against the four all stars in their prime of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, KG, and Rajon Rondo? Why did LeBron and the Cavs lose to the Spurs of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan in 2007? Why did LeBron and the Heat lose to the 5 all stars of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Kwahi Leonard, and a red hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Danny Green? At points in the series they shot 70% from the field, who in history would have beaten this team? Why did LeBron lose to the Warriors after he lost Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love or do we look at it like we do the Toronto Raptors winning because the Warriors lost all 3 of its Super stars of Steph, Klay and Durant? Is it reasonable to believe LeBron and the Cavs could be a team with Durant added and shouldn't Durant not been allowed to be on the team like Chris Paul not going to the Lakers? Did Durant going to an already 73-9 Warriors team that LeBron James and the Cavs overcame a 3-1 hole to win a championship make it out of reach for LeBron and cost him 1-2 titles? Say LeBron James averages a triple double at age 35, is that playing bad against the Miami Heat? Lebron is 14-0 in the first round and has never lost in the first round, has MJ ever done that? What has LeBron James done 6 times that only Larry Bird did since 1987 in the Playoffs? Did MJ do this? Who has the career playoff and career regular season points of LeBron vs MJ? Even Kobe has more points than MJ too. Who has played the most games career wise? Lebron or MJ. Who has the most rebounds and assists and steals career - LeBron or MJ? How many games has MJ won without Pippen? Zero. Pippen has won series without MJ on the East Coast and West Coast, and so has Lebron! Has MJ ever won a title on multiple teams like LeBron did with Miami, Cavs, and the Lakers? Only Robert Horry which has won 7 and gets almost no recognition of passing MJ and John Sally has done this as a superstar like LeBron! Yes, MJ has scoring titles but when you add all the points together who has the most points? Lebron or MJ. Hmmm. I thought MJ was the GOAT? Lebron has never had a two year break and came back right at playoffs time like MJ? Lebron James is asked to play and play and score and do it all still at 35. The Bulls would have still won if you were to add Kobe to the same team for the sake of argument. Now place MJ on the Cavs teams of 2007 would they even make it to the Eastern Conference Finals let alone the NBA Finals? And remember all the 60+ seasons LeBron had with the Cavs without a superstar, would MJ have won against the Boston Celtics of the Big 4 of Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen? My point is that LeBron James had to play this super team, the super team of the Warriors with Kevin Durant and the Super Team of San Antonio; would MJ and the Bulls beaten them? People have a great recollection of the Dallas Mavericks series but realistically, historically it takes two years for a new team to win a title and LeBron did this with an aged Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. What team in NBA history has ever won against a team shooting 70% regular season and especially Postseason? Who has more career playoff wins? And Who has more NBA Finals appearances? Lebron James....not MJ! Even if you give MJ two titles he never won, LeBron James still leads this category and his career is not over! Is the Coronavirus Pandemic Season and the Coronovirus Pandemic the hardest pestilence to ever come on sports? Do you think the NBA Bubble is soft and easy to play in? Explain. Would you be willing to do it as an athlete, or would you rather do it like pre- COVID19? hmmm. That's what I thought. Let's say you say the social unrest of the 1960s, especially 1968 is the worst sports season to play in ever? Now combine the Coronovirus Pandemic NBA Season and social unrest not seen since the 1960s and then combine that with Kobe's tragic helicopter accident representing your home franchise all happening within the same year, no pressure, easy for LeBron? Has MJ faced anything like this? Yes. When his father passed away and gambling allegations. But he took a two year break and this was before social media and the internet. Lebron James is criticized 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Who has been through more on the court? Lebron or MJ. Did MJ beat the Celtics in their peak? Lakers? Bad Boy Pistons? Injuries and age helped. Imagine if LeBron James could get away with hand checking and hard fouls on a team like the 1990s New York Knicks or 1990s Indiana Pacers versus the Bulls and MJ. Who would win? Is LeBron physically and mentally tough to play in MJ's Era? Yes. MJ would score like James Harden and Kevin Durant but a more conservative shot selection. With the rules today, Dennis Rodman wouldn't last half a season in today's NBA with all the antics and technical fouls. This would leave MJ and Pippen vulnerable. The 72-10 Bulls record has been beaten by a 73-9 Warriors team before Kevin Durant. And LeBron James came back from 3-1 deficit in the NBA FINALS. Greatest Comeback ever maybe over New England vs Atlanta Superbowl & Boston Red Sox from 0-3. Lebron James vs MJ. Game over. Career stats and wins. And LeBron's Legacy is not over yet. Remember, LeBron James has the exact titles MJ had at the same age! Correct? 3 + this year put him ahead by 1. Only LeBron, KG, and Kobe have made a straight transition from high school to the NBA successfully careerwise. Not MJ. Actually MJ did 4 years of college and came into the NBA at age 22-21. Lebron James was already in his first of 10 NBA Finals. Would MJ have left a championship team twice to go to a dinosaur lottery team on Cavs and Lakers? Nope. When LeBron left Cavs twice, the season afterwards they were lottery teams and before the same. When MJ left the Bulls were they still a Playoff team? Who has the most triple doubles? Lebron. So actually LeBron James is at 4 titles and 1 game ahead of Michael Jordan. MJ's last title was at 38! I will not talk about the Washington Wizard Years but LeBron James would never get that free pass. MJ vs Lebron. I made my case through your answers to my questions. Case closed. Both wore number 23 and everyone is afraid. Congratulations 🎊👍👏👍👍🎊👏🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊 on Championship #4 for Lakers and 17th for Lakers!!!!!!!!!
