Jonas may be washed, but he would help AD tremendously. It's honestly laughable that the Lakers won the chip with the biggest team in the league, a full rotation of true centers, then completely abandoned it lol. Makes zero sense. Won a chip and said fuck it lets blow it up. True insanity.

Lakers don’t need a backup center to Anthony Davis. Lakers need a center so that Anthony Davis can play at the 4. This is the repetitive failure of the Lakers, always piling up good centers and making them useless to play as backups to Anthony Davis whereas the solution is to find a full time center so that the beast in Anthony Davis is unleashed to play at the four 4.
@derekhayter4879
@derekhayter4879 2 ай бұрын
I think we're overlooking at the fact that Lebron does not want to play the 3. Lebron wants to play the 4 and he's not letting AD play the 4. Lebron is also not going to the bench either. So AD literally has to play the 5 unless Lebron changes his mind.
@LN-Lifer
@LN-Lifer 2 ай бұрын
You're almost wrong Whether AD plays the four or the five is ALMOST irrelevant. The reason the Lakers need a true backup big is for f****** rebounding and that is it I say almost because I'm totally cool with that big Central being on the court with Davis so he could play the four But the truth is the Lakers lose games when Anthony Davis sits down and they give up a string of offensive rebounds that means your second chance points I promise you on my life nothing has lost them more games over the past two full seasons than that

I don't put much stock in the Olympics, because it's in a short window with minimal games. They don't have to load manage their effort because other NBA All Stars can take more of their minutes in Paris. I will agree re Darvin. If JJ doesn't field galaxy brain lineups, and his offense has actual structure that should translate to 4-6 more wins if LeBron and AD play the same amount of games (70 and 76 respectively).

Thatrnof gossip, they were interviewed together and spoke openly about how much that engulfs her life. She only hires her friends like the Rambis' and phonies like Rob. They have an understaffed front office, because she doesn't want to pay people. They refuse to pay for the best strength and conditioning coaches and other related staff, so that's a revolving door. A few years ago, former Assistant Coach Lionel Hollins said they shorted him on his pay salary. When he notified the front office, no one responded. He's a well respected in the league and he quit. Word gets around. Look how many players and coaches turned down working for the Lakers prior to hiring JJ and the assistant coaches.

I'm reading, once again all the negativity and it may be warranted and it may not be. Either way and perhaps unfortunately for the win now type fans I feel like that question will be answered eventually because the Lakers are on a new path of training young, talented athletes in-house instead of trading for one and done superstars who may or may not help us win a chip who then leave after a season. I have to feel like Rob and company have a plan for the Lakers but it may take longer than this season to accomplish. I think for the short term it's going to suck for us Lakers fans but over the long term it's going to be beneficial for the team and us fans respectively. The fans also have to remember that LeBron James is probably going to retire after this season. A fact that Lakers management knows about and understands all too well and so I'm guessing are planning for that eventuality beforehand. My thoughts are that yes, it's going to suck for a season or two but in a couple of seasons Coach Reddick will have experience and the Lakers young core that they are working on will be ready to battle as a team. Together, breed and prepared mentally and physically to stick it out as Lakers win, lose or draw.

And for God's sake, Lewis and JHS will never be a solid rotation player, especially won't happen in the next season, why do you keep them? They are even more useless than Cam, Wood or Hayes! He did not sign with us when he was a free agent. Why would we trade him.. we give younger player and a pick just to get to him?. I think we're good. Go with the players who want to be a Laker.

@@John-jm4nvhe was decent next to AD. My point is we need a heavy starting Center next to AD. Drummond would've been perfect but he literally doesn't take the game serious enough. Jonas would be okay because he has bricks in his back pocket.

I think Sean has been watching too many YT podcasts. He clearly tries to imitate other hosts speech mannerism and delivery. Half the time, I can't follow what he says.

Why are y’all still complaining about things that will not change. Cam, Hayes, & Wood exercised their player options. It’s done. Let talk about moving them or improving them but jeez move on.

Me personally I think he isn’t the right fit for the lakers. Remember when we got andre drummon and they said he clogged up the lane for ad and lebron? A washed up Val. is way worse. I feel like we are just getting desperate to get anyone.

🚨Why Allways say a backup center‼️ We need regular center and move AD to the 4. Thats the big deal for us. We need that to have a good season. #ElNico
