this kid is a joke. he is such a hater. show me this LBJ mix tape. talking about defense is weak. one- the goat is making people look like there no defense cause they cant defend him. two- this kid never once says a thing when 3 defenders are hanging on Jordans waist trying to tackle him.

@@dwood21851 Exactly. When I watch some of these kids react to this it seems they all stop and critique the same moments and say similar things like when MJ does the hand switch against Perkins, the hate in them is triggered and they would say "oh, that was so unnecessary" with an eye roll. And another moment talk about how a certain play wasn't impressive cause they're not playing any defense. "Oh, I thought the 90's defense is supposed to be tough" These knuckle headed kids will NEVER understand that those of us old enough to see both eras can tell that the 80's-90's quality of Basketball has certainly rotted away.

If he acted like he was going right you had to beat him there cuz he was so fast, but if he faked you out by time you could adjust he was already in the air stuffing it down the SF, PF, or Centers mouth. I was a high-school Freshman in Orange County, CA MJ's rookie season and right from the get-go everyone was trying to be "like Mike." I saw young then prime MJ ball in person a few times at old LA Sports Arena vs Clippers and what my 20/20 vision witnessed is like nothing it had seen before or after him. The electricity in the building was amazing. In one game MJ stole ball at midcourt and would have had a breakaway dunk but was intentionally fouled and the home crowd booed the Clippers. I have also seen young/prime Bron in person a few times and I find it laughable that they're compared. He's a mere mortal compared to Black Jesus.

LeBron plays the absolute right way, no doubt. However, there isn't one skill or trait LeBron has that Mike doesn't. There are a couple that Mike has that LeBron doesn't. Shot selection and creation come to mind. Jordan better athlete. As for Magic on Mike, he's more representative of Everyone in the league at that time. Dating back to when NBA stars played Olympics hoopers in 1984, the pros knew that Mike was the best. Bob Knight knew, Dean Smith knew, they all knew.

Took the man 25 years to even get close to MJ. Now, saying Jordan wouldn't dominate these soft boys is ludacris. No contact, no hand checking, just gonna let him go. He's getting 50 a game easy. Jordan made that move at 8:36 because he saw Sam Perkins coming over to block his shot. His improvisational skills were second to none. Also, Jordan was able to palm the ball so easily because he has some of the largest hands in league history...as a 6'5-6'6" guard (yes, his real height is a shade under 6'5"). Sorry, I've never seen LeBron catch the ball with one hand then come down and hit a jump shot off the glass. The defense wasn't as sorry as you think - Jordan was extremely quick, decisive, and relentless. He kept coming. You're forming your opinion off a highlight video? Jordan wouldn't be able to do some of these things in today's game where the league rules have generated more offense? Smh. A couple names of players who are less skilled and less athletic, but they've been compared to Jordan: Demar Derozan and Kawhi Leonard. Don't be so close-minded. I've seen both LeBron and Jordan in their primes, and it's not close. LeBron is great, but he has flaws in his game and mental approach.

See on KZbin the comparison between Lebron's game with Charlotte and Jordan's game with Charlotte, both at 38 years old. Today's defense is ridiculous and not only that. The players do not move either offensively or defensively. Only the player with the ball moves, the rest stay on the field, and the most static is Lebron

3:27 - Smacking of lips then proceeds to have a meltdown about one play from one team (trying to guard JORDAN I may add) and trashing how an entire league played defense an entire decade based on it. Nah, can't take him serious. Too much emotional input. 😩👎 8:23 - Smacking of lips emotional input - "Bro, that was so unnecessary" 9:03 - Emotional damage - Not listening to the words a HOF great. Mind in gutter and not on Basketball. I honestly don't wanna know where. 12:37 - Notices one of Jordan's playstyle's by palming the ball - "Wasn't the basketball back then a little smaller?" "He been palming the s- out of these balls what the -?" Meaning because he's palming the ball it had to have been smaller back then to have been possible. And proceeds to gesture with his hands while frowning like it's a disease. I can't with this guy. 🤣 12:50 Notices greatness - Starts to sink in, the shaking of legs, licking of lips, emotions are running deep, and says: "Bruh I ain't gone lie Lebron can do all of that, and it looks better" This level of delusion is out into ORBIT. 🤣🤣 18:50 - Bob Costas's words penetrated his cranium then he realizes lots of guys ARE fast and lots of guys ARE strong in today's NBA yes, but can't deny what he's witnessing at this level of Jordan's artistry. He again gets emotional overload, and puts foot in his mouth yet again saying: "Michael Jordan wouldn't be getting away with this in today's NBA" Bruh, your memory that short? Did you just hear what Bob Costas said? Youngsters today, their way of thinking is tragic but they can't help the way they are. Sometimes I feel sorry for them.

Hey Schuyler Reacts...a little context on the switch hands "unnecessary" layup that makes it so iconic. It was in the NBA finals, but more to the point Jordan had scored 24 straight points, prior to the layup, that layup made 26 points in a row, and it was almost like he knew the moment and decided to add icing on the cake. Unbelievable moment.

Yes, but Jordan is a freak of nature there Maurice let a comparison to the average NBA player back in the 90s, but not in comparison to Jordan Jordan is still above literally every single player in today game. Not to mention you guys don’t play any defense anymore all of the NBA stars takeoff on defense and only try to do everything in office. Jordan did that both ways and played all 82 games 10 seasons in a row. LeBron’s only done that once.😅

Why do LBJ fans lowers the GOAT standards to have at least a shot at MJ'? The thing is how come you call someone goat with a losing percentage in the finals? regardless of who you play, if your the greatest when you are at your peak and with a championship team, you beat the other team regardless. They now entered Longevity as one of the standard but the thing is you keep playing and the only thing is accumulating stats and not rings, would you rather chose a carpenter who build your house with all your requirements in 10 years or a carpenter who still making your house for 20 years and it still not met your requirements?

I never saw MJ looking for a referee to ask to take out a fan who paid for her ticket. 4.I never saw MJ fight a woman for mocking his game. 5. I never saw MJ score 8 points in a finals. 6. I’ve never seen MJ get swept in the finals. 7. I never saw MJ Lose in a finals. 8. I never saw MJ lose to an inferior team in the playoffs. 9. I’ve never seen MJ lose in an olympics. 10. I'm around MJ's age and have seen him play since his high school days here in NC. I've also coached youth basketball for over 25 years. My middle son played at basketball caps with Stephon and Seth Curry here in the Charlotte area. So I know basketball inside and out since 1975 when I became a fan and started playing myself. Sorry, but this is not the best reaction I've seen. It's disappointing to see younger people who really haven't seen the way the game was played in the 80's/90's when basic fundamentals were part of every player's game. The 80's/90's was the NBA's Golden Era in terms of talent at the individual and team levels. Today, it's the worst it's been since the 70's. You took one play and concluded it was representative of defenses of this time, yet completely ignore the other multitudes of plays in the video where the defenses and contact were incredible. Michael was scoring against suffocating defenses and while being flarantly fouled on a nightly basis. Today, you see very little defense. The game is sloppy due to a shoot-first mindset while ignoring higher percentage opportunities. Though players today are very athletic, fundamentals are terrible. Teamwork is almost nonexistent in favor of individuals forcing something to happen where the odds of a score is very low. In terms of Lebron, he is an excellent player and the best physically built player ever. But his negatives are glaring. He plays poor defense, he commits a lot of turnovers for a player of his caliber, he has choaked in many very important game situations, he's is not a clutch player, and he childishly flopps. That he has these negatives during one of the weakest time frames in NBA history adds to the evidence that Lebron is clearly not the GOAT, IMO. I do put him in the top 10, which is very good. But he definitely is not even in my top 5, objectively speaking. #1 Michael Jordan, #2 Larry Bird, and #3 Magic Johnson. MJ has no weaknesses at all and accomplished what he did by being physically pounded game after game. 6 championships in 8 years and two 3-peats. Larry and Magic are right behind him. All were extremely clutch, very team oriented, very high basketball IQ's, always found ways to win, clutch, and did all of this in the Golden Era. Watch more 80's and 90's era videos with an open mind and you will see what I'm saying. Not trying to be unkind, but I hate seeing todays young people be robbed of the beautiful aspects of the team play and high IQ that no longer exists.

Sorry bro, I had to give it thumbs down for your sheer Bron-tinted delusion glasses 🤪 But at leat I reacted and am now commenting - so that should help you in the yt-algorithm... 👌 But let's be fair, if this is your first look at MJ's game - you're still a rookie when it comes to a comparison. Watch a few games and not just highlights before even considering putting Bron in the same category a Jordan. Ok, I'm spoiled - I'm old enough to have seen them both in action during their peaks (both live and on screen). And you even mentioning Skip as any kind of authority on b-ball Is hilarious 🤣 To each his own - but I would urge you to dive a bit deeper into the game back then vs. now, the players, the physicality, how easy it is to get to the rim now etc. etc. and then make up your mind when you have a little more factual knowledge to base any comparison on... In my personal opinion Bron isn't even close to catching up with the top three all-time best under Jordan - but then again I might be biased even though I try not to be 🤷🏻‍♂ Have a great one 😁
