I'm not a LeBron fan, but i will say i hope people appreciate this guy for what it's worth. No question 1 of the 3 greatest players to EVER play the sport and he's still providing moments like this. Love him or hate him... give respect where its due.
@ubilicious1887
@ubilicious1887 3 күн бұрын
You desperate Kobe fans should stop this shit! Categorising Bron in - "one of the 3 greatest" is phoney and disrespectful. Respect to Kobe he was a great and peerless through most of his years but Bron's clearly the better player. Bron had not even won his third title with the Cavs yet and virtually every pundit had him above Kobe. He's "one of the 2 greatest". I personally believe he's a better player than Jordan, but I concede and could consider an arguement he's probably number two because of the sheer number of people that insist Jordan is number 1
@joshuawilliams7653
@joshuawilliams7653 3 күн бұрын
@ubilicious1887 While I appreciate your passion on this subject, I'm not one of the guys who puts Kobe over LeBron, just to be clear. Also, the fact that you would take someone calling LeBron one of the 3 greatest players to EVER play the game of basketball as disrespectful is EXACTLY why LeBron supporters are the worst thing to happen to sports and media. So, it's disrespectful to acknowledge a guy as all time great but not THE greatest? SMH crazy. To me, it'd be disrespectful to say he wasn't great, in my opinion. To clarify my position, I'm not a LeBron fan. Never have been. Though I've got valid reasons behind it, I acknowledge his body of work enough to put him over a lot of guys. Olajuwon, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan even though Duncan 2-1 against him in the Finals, KD and Steph though they've beat him, Magic, Bird, Wilt, and Russell though Russell the greatest winner the sport has known. It's disrespectful to say Lebron ranks above all those guys? I think I'm showing him TONS of respect saying that, though I'm a HUGE Duncan fan in particular. LeBron is #3 to me because he's under Jordan and Kareem. Jordan accomplished what he did realistically in 11 prime healthy years (missed 64 games 2nd year with broken foot and only played 17 games in 95 coming back from retirement). He clears LeBron in scoring titles, titles other than scoring, defensive team selections, DPOY awards, league MVPs, rings, and Finals MVPs. Whether u like it or not, there's legit validation to Jordan being over LeBron more than just nostalgia and here say. I value peak over longevity. Lebron been a B+ A- for a long time, but never hit that A+ level like Jordan did. And it's cool, cause no one really did so it's not just a him thing. Personally, I don't think Kareem is mentioned enough in the Goat debate. Kareem may have the best OVERALL basketball career of anyone. 71 straight wins in high school, 3 consecutive national titles in college, and 6 championships in the NBA while being a record 6 time league MVP and the ONLY player to be top 3 in 3 major career categories (points, rebounds, blocks). He was such a beast that if u combined his lowest averages in pts, rebs, asts, and blocks from his first 12 seasons, you'd have 23.8 pts 10.3 reb 3.4 asts and 2.9 blks. That means he had 12 straight years to start his career where he averaged over 23.8 ppg 10.3 rpg 3.4 apg and 2.9 bpg. Insane. And folks like to argue his MVPs but I say aside from the 1 he got when Lakers were 40-42, he earned the other 5. Each of those years his team had at least 53 wins and at least made the conference finals. Chip in 71, Conference finals 72, Finals in 74, Conference Finals in 77, and Chip in 80. So, yes, I personally think LeBron is 1 of the 3 greatest players to play the game. And it's not disrespectful to say that. I think it shows a lot of respect to have him up there despite not being a huge fan.
