He pulled off the equivalent of a 29 point quarter when his team needed every single bucket. I caught MJs last three and Kobe’s 5 but this game was the single greatest playoff performance I’ve ever seen. Jordan scored 63 on the Celtics in the playoffs in 86. Lebron scored 49 in OT and 25 straight and 29 out of 30 in the 4th Qtr. The difference is this Piston team athletically was better than the Celtics. However, this is the greatest and most important thing. The Bulls lost that game and the series. People need to realize how tiring it is to handle a basketball. In the triangle, Kobe and Michael had a PG bring the ball up and swing to either side. From there, a high and low post on one side of the court would set screens and create mismatches. Lebron, on the other hand, would (and still does) bring the ball up and run a pick and roll at the top of the key. It’s mentally and physically exhausting. Anyone that has played ball can explain to you the difficulties of creating plays. It’s like teaching a man to fish and providing for the family
@pooloftim8263

Dude have you ever played basketball? It’s not exhausting bringing the ball up, the rock doesn’t weight 25 lbs lmao. You can argue it’s easier to score that way because there’s more room to work with, which is why they often ISO at the top of the key when the game is on the line. Try again.

Detroit lost their ability to deal with a slasher. We saw it in 2005 with Ginobili, 2006 with Wade, and here with Lebron. You know who would have helped with that? Anyone not named Darko.
