I don’t understand the statistical argument! Lebron DOES NOT have better stats than Jordan. Lebron only has longevity. His peak is an average HoF superstar’s peak - the Magics, the Birds, Malone, Duncan, Steph, etc. Jordan’s peak was an entirely different stratosphere and it was OBVIOUS in how he dominated his opponents. Jordan’s dominance is evident in both stats and the eye test. Jordan’s dominance had more longevity than LeBron’s “dominance.” Lebron only has Jordan in career totals accumulated and HE SHOULD because he’s played a dozen more seasons than Jordan. Jordan dominated and dominated for longer than LeBron has. So career averages should matter most because that’s what shows a player’s peak and that’s what the goat debate is about - a player’s PEAK! Can you beat so and so at their peak? Jordan’s peak was higher and longer than LeBron’s peak. Oh, and LeBron fails the eye test because we saw someone dominate more, put fear in the hearts of his opponents, take their hopes and dreams away, and made them admit and bow down and say that he is the goat. Not only that, but until today, his opponents still say he’s the goat despite SEEING LeBron and even playing WITH him on the same team! And let’s not bring up the flopping, turnovers, no D, no evolution of his game over the years, poor shooting outside the paint, choke jobs, excuses, scapegoating teammates, mocking fans, mocking opponents and getting shut up immediately after, Balco, etc., etc., etc. The guy is the lamest superstar in history and everyone except his fanboys can see it.
