It makes sense, but when I think superstar I think name recognition comes into play. AD is a big name, and the Lakers also help in that department. I agree with Nick and Brou. There's no one in line I'd put over AD's combination of resume, name power and current production yet (Wemby will get there).

Klay did miss 2020-2021, but that’s not the whole story. In 2021, Steph averaged 32 ppg. Wiggins averaged 19 ppg. And Kelly Oubre averaged 16 ppg. Klay in 2023 averaged 22 ppg. Jordan Poole in 2023 averaged 20 ppg. Wiggins averaged 17 ppg in 2023. Steph averaged 30 ppg in 2023. Klay averaged 18 ppg in 2024, due to reduced roll midseason however. Kuminga averaged 16 ppg. Steph averaged 26 ppg.
