If LeBron averages 6 assists per contest while playing 70 games per season, he would become No. 1 on the list in 2036 at age 51.
Stockton's record is ridiculous.

John Stockton lighting up the stat sheet with over 15,000 assists, while busting heads in the MOST skilled, physical and grueling era the NBA has ever seen, is mind-blowing. Dude was 6'1", 170lbs. and was mixing it up with legends like Bird, Magic and Dominique in the 80s, and Jordan, Glove, Miller and Grant Hill in the 90s. Dude was dominating two decades worth of ballers. Y'all better put some respeck on Stock's name. 😂

It's funny when you see that Lebron only has 10,336 assists. Making him only be 2/3s of Stocktons total. Would only take a 30 year career for Lebron to get close. Lol

If Lebron averages 13.4 assists over the next 5 years he can pass him. Likely he would have to play 7 years an average 10 to do so.

His 7.0 assists per 36 minutes played places him 2nd among all forwards, behind Draymond Green (7.1), and 11th among guards (Stockton leads with 11.1). Surprisingly, his average is better than Curry's 6.7.
