Going by chips doesn't really give the whole story. Robert Parish the Celtics center has four. Lots of people don't know that he won his last as the backup center with Jordan and the Bulls. Parish also had an extremely long career. However he would tell you himself that Bird was the driving force of the Celts.

Kareem is a top 3 player all day. High school championship. 3 NCAA championships and the took the dunk out of college basketball because he was so dominant and the were trying to even the field. 6 NBA championships along with 6 MVP’s

There's no valid reason I've ever heard to try to put kobe on the top 5. He was great on defense and made like 11 all nba defense teams, but he didn't share the ball enough and waa a very inefficient shooter. Trying to put him above Wilt, Bird, Magic, lebron, Duncan, Kareem.... seems like absolute craziness to me. NOONE had kobe in their top 5 before he died. He's just gotten posthumously overrated in the last few years

I actually heard people put him in before he died. It has nothing to do with his death. A lot of people don't really get the love until a while after their career is over. I was never a Kobe fan. I felt they tried to over-hype him, but I still think he's a better total package than Lebron.
