To those who don't know Big KRIT, yes he's a secular rapper but he makes references to God a lot. He talks about growing up in a Christian home and the impact its had on his life.

Here after hearing what Crae said about this song on the newest episode of his podcast. Krit's verse is incredible, open and vulnerable. Christians should be encouraging more of these types of songs, not condemning them. Respect to Lecrae and Krit.

God gave man free will. And the world as we know it would not exist without balancing forces...without evil, we would not know good. Without pain, we would not know joy. Without tragedy, we would not know miracles. It is a terrible thing to happen, but it was caused by man.

All you gotta do is listen to the lyrics. In the first verse, K.R.I.T. is confessing his struggles and in the second, Lecrae is praying for him.

Some people are visiting this video (along with so many more Christian videos) to make negative comments and spew hate toward God. All I can say is.... yay.... at least they are visiting Christian videos... I believe out of curiosity and there is a part of them that knows God is real. My prayer is I hope they see the truth while spending their time surfing Christian videos to make hateful comments. God is and always will be on the throne! Bravo Lacrae for spreading the TRUTH!

God created man in His image. Giving us the freedom to choose what is right and what is wrong. Yes he is all powerful and can stop this at any time, but we are accountable for our actions. Because some choose not to follow God's will, that is the work of Satan through man, not God's will.
@KingdomKelly11 жыл бұрын
Krit is coming from a standpoint in this song that so many people are in. The point of this music is to touch those who are stumbling and shaky in their faith. Chances are introducing faith in a way not many people have heard it. Lecrae is reaching out to people who need to hear the gospel.

i gotta new found of respect for Big K.R.I.T. who gave his life to Christ, people are finally realizing that there isnt that much time until Jesus comes and they're acting upon it. Just cant wait for more people to turn over to Christ realizing how much time they have left.

Ashthon was perfect choice for this with y'all. Synergistic. Incredible. This is the type she was meant to do, not that other stuff she was doing before. You know it when you hear it. You guys should make a demo for the next James Bond movie. This song with her singing reminds you of the soundtrack.. Wouldn't that be moving, to have a Christian injection in a James Bond soundtrack? We could all pass it around and petition. Please make more music like this. We need it.

Just saying, it's not about "doing business" with people, it's solely about the message of the song which is about going up for prayer. The gospel is indeed for ALL people not to mention there is more power in hearing a story of someone who is turning away from violent, sinful backgrounds to pursue God rather than the familiar "grew up in a Christian household". Even Jesus said "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."

i hope nobody is complaining about Lecrae bringing secular rappers onto a track with him. The fact that Krit and Crae are on a track together is in itself a blessing. Just cuz some rappers aren't christians it doesn't mean they don't have a message. Saying so is just the same as the secular people who don't believe christian rappers are talented. Pre-conceived notions are useless.

apparently a lot of ppl on this post have forgotten what it's like to be unsaved, lost, backslidden, or otherwise living a lifestyle contrary to how Christ wants us to live - saved or not. How easy it is for us to become Pharisees. God has a way of reminding us of our imperfections. Keep it up, and you too will be the BIG KRIT of your own criticism. Who did Jesus minister to? Was it the "righteous, religious" Pharisees? Did Jesus come to heal the healthy people? Did he come to the rich? Jesus' disciples were fishermen, tax collectors, etc.. Jesus healed the sick, came to the poor. If no one is going to be shining light in the secular industry then who will? Does Lecrae talk about sex, drugs, or partying? He talks about real life issues and how walking with God will overcome that. I see so many people claiming to be so righteous that they know every one of Lecrae's sins. Man look at outward appearance but God looks at the heart. If we don't approach those who are not saved then how are they suppose to become saved? Ever thought about how everyone of you was not saved at one point?

Who are we to determine who's a saint or a sinner. No man is perfect. If you have ever heard any of K.R.I.T. songs then you know he is strong in faith because he was raised by a praying grand mother.
