This company is the best!! Bought two of the XP models a year ago and they are fantastic! Had a couple of minor issues, but they took care of them quickly. Customer service seems to be very important to Lectric Bike!

These young men are years beyond their age. I am thoroughly impressed with the business ethic they have. I didn’t get any impression of conceit at all, in fact they were very humble. I am so impressed that I’m going to order 2!! One each for my wife and myself. Listen, I have a bike shop around the corner that I went to look at a couple of E Bikes and all they did was bash everybody else’s. If they didn’t sell it, it was garbage. The kicker is their most inexpensive bike was 2700.00 wow! They we’re snooty. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I’m going to order today.

Hello from an old Combat Vet (66 year old) & new owner (me & wife - Black for me - White one for wife) of two of your Lectric XP's. I gotta say - WOW! THANK YOU for such a GREAT ebike for under $1,000! Otherwise I would not have been able to get for me AND wife. We LOVE our Lectric XP's! Only been able to ride sporadically due to rain but the times we HAVE been able to ride - the rides have been FUN and a good workout without killing ourselves. Please don't do any changes that raise the cost! Maybe options for those who want them but for folks like me it's GREAT as it is! Thanks, God bless.....

Thanks for asking my question about why my bike was shipped from California and why The price jumped up for me but realistically they didn't answer either of them. No response on why it was shipped from California And no offer of a refund For the price difference. Update: Upon sending a polite request for a price adjustment within a couple hours I recieved notice that a refund bringing my cost down to the Black Friday sales price was on its way. That's first class customer relations in my book! Great company to do business with!

I also discovered that they have worked with a forwarder in California and go back and forth, what was shown in this video is a warehouse they bought but the one in California is rented... this is why some parts arrive separately from some bikes (depending on inventory levels). Also, the $999 is their actual price but the sales have just been running so long that it kind of turned into $899 and I think they're still evaluating if they can keep it there :)

Order two a few days ago for our RV that should be built sometime in late Spring/Summer. Probably the best compromise for RV folks who want a little off-road, along with exploring local restaurants, attractions, parks, etc. Can’t wait to put them to use and continue to watch the continue growth of a great family with solid core beliefs/values.

This comment comes two years after this video was made. Ordered and received two XP ST bikes for wife and myself in November 2021 (the "Black Friday" version with springy seatpost, excellent lock and bright headlight). Bikes are great; construction quality is first-rate and paint flawless. Brake cables needed lubrication but derailleur was spot-on. We've already added a couple of items--wireless alarm/horn, folding rear basket, adjustable water bottle holder, FlatOut goop for tires, 11-34 freewheel for increased shift range, smartphone holder and USB charge port. Price is far lower than the competition, so I'd suggest it's okay to raise prices somewhat in order to improve the product and maintain quality. Terrific product, very impressed, getting lots of questions from others up here in Oregon. Would be nice to offer an optional 14Ah battery (stock is 10.4) for slightly-increased range but stick with name-brand cells--no-name Chinese cells can be pretty horrible.

YEP, that was us... $999 TWO MONTH wait. BUT WORTH THE WAIT AND COST! Nomadic Fanatic and KevCentral were the guys who hooked me. We have LOVED our foldable bikes. We can get BOTH bikes in our Prius so can go ride easily anywhere! Every time we ride someone stops us to ask about the bikes. Even the park ranger on the C&O Canal trail wanted to know all about them (in a good enthusiastic way)! LOL As to the ride... I have changed out the seats!!! Gonna go check out the suspension bar now that I’ve seen it. My only other comment is at 5’2” it is a little awkward for me to mount and I have to reach forward for the handlebars so my seating geometry isn’t ideal. I’d like the seat a little lower and the ability to rotate the bars closer.

I would recommend being able to change the tire size and the speed indication. These would be P06 and P18 respectively. This will allow people to experiment with correcting the odometer while maintaining an accurate speed reading. Right now the odometer reading is a bit high. That way, you guys can work on development and let your customers get the Odometer settings correct.

Great and interesting review. Lectric seemed to develop a word of mouth marketing plan by sending their bikes out to selected Utubers whose reviews generated customer demand. What a low cost and efficient business strategy. They did not specifically mention KevCental but I think his name was brought up twice during the interview. Also I liked their philosophy on keeping their bike at a low cost point. Appreciated the comments concerning torque vs cadence sensors which answered a lot of questions in my mind. This interview reflected capitalism at its best.

Update: I did finally got my bike! Although it took little over 12 weeks to actually get it. Ok, I am “that guy” who’s motto is “go big or go home, “ and I expect things to work as advertised with NO compromise or failure. It just has to work. etc. etc. etc. Im telling you now THIS BIKE IS AWESOME! Quality build, durable and down right good looking! Customer service was excellent for me. EVERY time I emailed them inquiring about the delay I was met with very nice customer rep’s. I’d gladly order from LECTRIC EBIKES again. No bullshit! I LOVE THIS BIKE!

Great Q&A..! They have a good energy. I love the Schwalbe BigApple PLUS or the BigBen PLUS tires. They have a shock absorbing quality and I have never had a flat with the PLUS tires. I ride about 4k miles a year.

..just got my Update 4/29 and looking forward to my mid to late May delivery. FYI the KevCentral presentation sold me (I watched most others, too). I might look into a MegaRange Freewheel upgrade. When the Regenerative idea was brought up, the first disadvantage I thought of is: If you run the battery down too low, that might hinder pedaling back home. You really need enough battery to cancel the regen if you [Must] pedal home (unless you can handle the resistance).

Bought mine today and was told 6 week shipping time. Excited to get it, but dang.... I'm happy they didn't raise prices again to slow things down though. Looking at using on mountains, how are the 500w motors on hills and steeper trails? The website states 500w (800w+peak). What does this mean? Was looking at another company that has a 750w motor on a regular size non folding ebike, but very interested in the folding feature of the Lectric bike and really like the guys that own this company, they seem very real and genuine. I work in the hunting industry and it seems like a great bike, easy to fold up and great size for packing on hunting trips. Just curious on how it can handle the mountains and back country?

Bought 3 bikes. The third bike has been a nightmare so far. 7 weeks into owning 3 bikes and the 3rd bike still is not working right. First an inner tube issue with eh stem. This took 3 weeks for them to send out a new one . Finally get the inner tube on and now the speedometer doesn't work. Which means this didn't work right out of the box. Pretty frustrating when you spend this much money on a product and it does not work like it should.

Nice bike I bought one two months ago. Not much to complain about just bit heavy and it would be nice if there were more miles while in full throttle mood.
