Added the stem riser to my XPeak, made a world of difference! Also found in the settings where you can turn off the speed limit for PAS 1 and PAS 2, which to me makes the pedaling feel much more natural. PAS 1 is almost all I need for 18mph paved trails once I turned that off. Off-roading is where PAS 3 thru 5 come in.

I have an xpeak, came a few days ago, and for me I’d like the bar riser thanks for showing.

I like that thumb throttle, I'd mount it on the left side so I could change gears while using the throttle (I disabled pedal assist and instead use throttle assist as needed). I don't like the grips that kit comes with though, meaning I'd have to buy more stuff...but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Just take a compressor blow gun and blow between handle bars and grip from inside to outside of handlebars. Works for taking off and putting on. Very quick. I buy a bike to add things to it. Waist of money having to strip a bike just so you can ride it kind of safely. I would not trust that step through on off road conditions.

Lance also put a higher profile and wider handle bars on and it sounds night and day better.

what handle bar did you use? LINK? Plus does it work with the stem that comes with the xpeak

I too want(need?) the handlebar riser. Have you noticed any negative affect's on the handling? Where did you get the riser? I didn’t check amazon yet. How much $$?

Even though I will not get the step-thru model until March. I am going to make some modes for this bike. I have received the same throttle kit and a similar neck riser. I normally just cut the grips off and install new grips to my liking, but WD40 is like a magic solution for removing handlebar grips. If the "Death Wobble" happens when you remove both hands from the steering wheel. Why would you remove both hands from the steering? For safety reasons on any bicycle, Electric bike, or Motorcycle. always keep both hands on the steering wheel because a small rock can be in front of you and with your hands off the steering the bike will jerk and trust me you will crash, this happened to me on my pedal-speed bike. Hands-on the steering wheel keeps the bike stable and you are in control. Nice video!

Stay away from step through. The downtube is weak and causes a wild wobble at times. Step over seems fine. It is the worst step through I have seen.

@@rufusirvin5279 I have put almost 40 miles on my Step Through Xpeak received last week, not offroad though, and there's no wobble. I would not put baskets on my bikes even if they were free, so there's that, but it handles and rides great.

This dike needs the shorty turtleneck stem from DBN. Super space saver.

Love that part but it’s best used on a long giraffe stem.
